Los Cristianos crash pad
If location is everything to you, why not stay at Comodoro? These stripped-back self-catering apartments put you just a few minutes' stroll from the beach and the buzzy resort centre, so you'll have no trouble diving straight into the action.
You'll find plenty of shops, bars, and restaurants within walking distance, so no pressure to take advantage of the in-room kitchenette – you are on holiday after all. And there's plenty to fill your days in town, too. Head to the port and you can hop on a ferry and visit the neighbouring island of La Gomera, where you can expect the likes of forested hills, whitewashed cliffs, and black-sand beaches.
A trip to Tenerife would hardly be complete without a visit to the adrenaline-pumping Siam Park, which has made quite a name for itself. Whizz down slides, splash around in wave pools, or grab a ring and coast along the lazy river at this iconic water park that offers fun for the whole family just seven minutes' drive away.
If you're in need of a lazy day on the other hand, the complex has got a pool of its own that comes with an ample supply of sun loungers, perfect for whiling away an afternoon.
