"We stayed in this apartment for ten days and unfortunately our experience was frankly bad. The accommodation absolutely did not meet what you as a guest can expect. The biggest problem was the enormous nuisance of pests. We literally experienced mice jumping out of the bank. In several places, mouse droppings and even food items packaged on the counter were gnawed open and eaten by mice. In addition, we had a lot of trouble with ants, which meant we had to clean the entire kitchen several times because everything was covered in ants. We have reported these problems repeatedly to the reception. The reactions were however anything but adequate. Something was sprayed with a spray can or someone came to see if the mouse was still there. A real, structural solution was lacking. As a statement, even the nearby golf course was referred to, from where the pests would come. However, that can never be an excuse to let guests stay under such circumstances. Besides the pest problems, there were also various technical defects in the apartment. These were also insufficiently or not seriously addressed despite our reports. What made the disappointment even greater was the way our complaints and our request for compensation were handled. Despite the serious nuisance and the fact that our stay was considerably spoiled by it, no appropriate compensation was offered. Overall a particularly disappointing experience. You can expect an accommodation to be at least clean, hygienic, technically sound, and free of pests. When problems subsequently arise, you can expect the organization to take responsibility and actually solve them. That unfortunately did not happen here. Also very disappointing that children are not allowed in an inflatable ring or airbed in the large pool... never experienced that. The caretaker kept no supervision at all but spent the whole day playing on his iPad. We would absolutely not recommend this accommodation based on our experience"

"NEVER AGAIN. Currently still here. I booked this hotel for its quite tranquil location. In the ten days I have been here we have had maintenance drilling for a week. The local racing track on a Saturday all day and then you have the place full of barking dogs. Hotel reception don't want to know manager was in a meeting apparently. I get this behavior at home on a daily basis from my neighbors so wanted some peace and quite. They want to charge you to use the pool towels that have seen better days. Haven't had towels changed in 10 days in the room. the pool bar is ok for the afternoon but the man in there of a night is bloody rude. The MED restaurant is a lovely place. Parking they charge for so can work out expensive on top of your car hire. Local shops and a few restaurants 15 min walk in San blas. Now the positive The 2 bed apartment asked for a quite room overlooking the golf course got a pool view. But spacious apartment. Hilton absolutely NOT Hilton"

"We absolutely loved our holiday here. The accommodation was spacious with the best views. I travelled with my 8yr old and 12yr old and they have loved their time, they have requested to come back. A really nice relaxed time The only things that maybe need to be looked at, the sofa bed is a double, however I have a son and daughter, a sofa with a pull out underneath would be much better so they have a bed each, or even an option of a put up bed as there is enough room. No inflatables in the main pool? Completely understand lilos and huge inflatables, but rings should be allowed as it’s only a couple in at the same time, allowing them in the baby pool seems silly The pools should be constantly cleaned, I didn’t see this once an unfortunately my son got a severe ear infection, a consultation with a doctor was easy enough an a great pharmacy not far away. The lifeguard really doesn’t do much, he sits where he doesn’t have a good view, just on his phone or iPad, make use of them, he needs to walk round every 20-30mins to check everything is ok, this is also a great opportunity for them to quick the pools a quick skim with a net, especially the heated one"
