"Lower rooms are noisy due to being close to entrance and sensor bell is constantly ringing as people come in or leave the hotel. The breakfast is not plentiful and very basic. A packed breakfast to go is possible and consists of 1 small sandwich 2 fruit one of which was a kiwi which we could not eat as we did not have a knife to peel it, a small packet of orange juice and a butter tasting sponge cake. Rooms are spacious but bathrooms need to be refurbished since shower head and tap don't function. Staff isn't very helpful either. Although there there is a kettle and mugs in the room there are no teabags, coffee, sugar, milk etc. Water is always supplied."

"We stayed for a week at the end of January and had a lovely stay, we stayed in room 11 which had a fabulous view and we made use of the terrace and the second upper floor terrace with sun beds. We were welcomed on arrival by the owner who showed us to our room we were grateful for the welcome drink and fruit. The room was spacious and always very clean however the bathroom is due at little update. We asked for beach towels before our arrival which were provided. Bottled water was provided everyday. Breakfast from 8.30 was adequate and of local style, don’t expect a full on buffet but it was fine for us. The staff were always helpful and friendly. On our last day we were leaving at 8.45 so we were provided sandwiches fruit cakes and drinks to take with us, just ask the breakfast staff the day before. Overall we loved Garachico and this hotel unfortunately the weather was a bit mixed and cool so couldn’t use the outdoor pools but that couldn’t be helped."
