Regency Torviscas Apartments & Suites

"Apartments are now looking tired and in need of modernisation the bedroom in particular,we had trouble opening the sliding doors of the wardrobe to the point my husband had to open the wardrobe for me (the runners were bent). Our shower tray was cracked and had been filled with silicone gel this made the tray uneven causing a slip hazard, you had to squeeze past the toilet to get in the shower (would have been better installed the other way around) also leaked across the floor. The hairdryer wasn't working on arrival but was fixed quickly. Pool area clean with plenty of beds, reception helpful. Bakery good as was little shop. This was our third visit to this resort but it will be the last mainly due to location."

"We really enjoyed our stay here. We had a studio apartment, it was spacious and clean. Fabulous balcony with pool and sea views which we appreciated. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Pool area is good, never worried about not getting a sun bed. We didn’t eat at the restaurant but used the bakery for lunch and the supermarket was handy. There is also a bigger supermarket nearby. We knew it was up a big hill, it’s a 10 minute walk to the beach/ main bars and restaurants, but does take slightly longer back! However a taxi was only €5!!"

"Exchanged here from our own resort via RCI. A Studio was given to us. When in room, bed looked like a child size bed. Approx 30cm high. I am 5ft 10" and my feet and ankles went over the end of mattress. Further to this, mattress was 10cm thick so like lying on a yoga board. As we arrived quite late we waited until morning to complain. Receptionist was apologetic but said all studios were same. I asked for an upgrade to one bed if available, which there was availability at €80 for the rest of my duration which I accepted. I have taken this up with RCI. Apart from this, the resort is spotless. Staff are friendly. Nice pools and onsite bakery is great with freshly made goodies. Nice baguettes made with your choice of fillings. Bar staff friendly too and have entertainment on in evenings. A short walk to X-Sur centre and 360 restaurant if not dining within resort. Also great Italian over the road from 360 restaurant on Calle Galicia.Only downside, it's up the hill over the motorway at Fanabe. So great for the lungs or €4 for Taxi at the News Cafe roundabout."
