Los Olivos Beach Resort

"Currently staying here with family for 2 weeks and having an amazing time, rooms always clean and tidy. Staff are amazing and friendly always here to help. Lovely atmosphere throughout the day and the evening, the facilities and rooms are amazing for the value we paid. We’ve also had Phill and Steph have been such an amazing help throughout the holiday and have now provided us with a contract and all the information we need throughout the further stays in this hotel! Would highly recommend staying in Los Olivos beach resort and definitely if you have any questions about your stay speak with Phil and Steph!"

"Great location, super facilities and friendly staff. Room was basic but provided everything you need and the breakfast was vast and with a wide variety. Room could have done with makeover, mold on the bathroom and sofa was grubby but was generally clean and functional. Two minutes from the beach and shops/seafront."

"⭐️⭐️⭐️ 3/5 – Pleasant stay, but some areas need improvement We recently stayed at Los Olivos Beach Resort in Costa Adeje and had a reasonably pleasant stay overall, although there were a few things that I feel are worth mentioning for anyone considering booking. The positives The hotel itself is clean and our room was pleasant and comfortable. The staff at Los Olivos seemed friendly, although there wasn't a huge amount of interaction with them as our all-inclusive package was based at the adjoining Lagos de Fañabé hotel. The food was probably the biggest positive for me. I'm a very fussy eater, but I was genuinely impressed that there was always something I could find to eat, so I certainly can't complain about the choice. The restaurant staff at the adjoining hotel were also pleasant and polite. The negatives One thing to be aware of is that the all-inclusive facilities are not actually at Los Olivos. The pool bar at Los Olivos is chargeable, so you need to use the adjoining hotel for your all-inclusive drinks and food. Unfortunately, we also found the service at the pool bar at the adjoining hotel frustrating at times. Even when we were first in the queue, we sometimes seemed to be left waiting while guests from the adjoining hotel were served. Entertainment was also very limited. There was no daytime entertainment around the pool and not even any background music, which made the pool area feel quite quiet. There was some evening entertainment, but this was only around an hour. This may suit people looking for a very peaceful holiday, but if you're expecting more of an entertainment programme, it's worth being aware of. Wi-Fi is another consideration. Internet access wasn't available at the adjoining hotel, so Wi-Fi was essentially only available around the Los Olivos grounds. I would also say that Los Olivos isn't particularly suitable for anyone with mobility or breathing difficulties. There are a lot of steps, ramps and walking involved, so this is definitely something I'd take into consideration when booking. Housekeeping was probably the biggest disappointment. Although the room was pleasant, the cleaning seemed very basic. During our stay, the floor wasn't swept or mopped, and we even had to ask reception for extra toilet roll. To be fair, reception was very prompt and helpful when we asked. We also stayed in a Gold Room with a sun terrace. The idea of having a private sun terrace is lovely and was definitely a nice feature, but I feel the terrace itself could be improved. For example, a sun shade and perhaps a small table and chairs would make much better use of the space and make it a more comfortable area to sit and enjoy. Overall We enjoyed parts of our stay, particularly the food and the friendly restaurant staff, but I think there are several areas where the hotel could improve. The arrangement of having the all-inclusive facilities at the adjoining hotel isn't ideal, the lack of daytime pool entertainment or background music may not suit everyone, and the standard of housekeeping could certainly be better. The Gold Room sun terrace is a lovely idea, but adding some basic amenities such as shade and seating would make it much more enjoyable. I'd give Los Olivos 3 out of 5 stars. It's a pleasant enough place to stay, but I'd recommend being aware of the steps, the all-inclusive arrangement, limited entertainment, Wi-Fi situation and housekeeping standards before booking."
