"We have now been to The Jardines de Nivaria Hotel on a number of occasions, and I hope the comments below help to explain why that is, and also provide some useful information for the readers of Trip Advisor about The Hotel.
Choosing where to stay in Tenerife can be challenging and does depend on a range of issues. For those not familiar with the island, Costa Adeje is certainly a beautiful and popular location in the south of the island and The Jardines de Nivaria occupies a prime position on the sea front in Costa Adeje. The Hotel's accommodation is provided in several buildings, all of which are differently designed, named after different places in Tenerife, and are situated within well maintained gardens and grounds containing Palm Trees, ornamental plants, grassed areas, waterfalls, and even banana trees! There are extensive sunbathing areas close to the swimming pools and jacuzzi, together with a separate sunbathing area overlooking The Atlantic Ocean. The rooms within The Hotel also have balconies, complete with bistro tables and chairs, sunloungers (or both), depending on the rooms selected. The Jardine de Nivaria also has a Spa and Treatment Area. It is also worth making the point that great care has been taken to ensure that there is good access around the grounds, plus to and from the accommodation, to help those with mobility problems.
As I have referred to in a previous Trip Advisor Review, almost all of the rooms overlook the gardens and/or swimming pool areas or have a direct sea view. The rooms we have seen are all well equiped and maintained. We have been fortunate enough to have had the same accommodation on all of our visits to The Hotel over the last few years. On our first visit in 2018, I recall being told that The Hotel had recently undergone a refurbishment. This year, our accommodation had once again been upgraded /refurbished. Over the years we have been booking accommodation at The Jardine de Nivaria, we have noticed that whilst some Tour Companies offer the full range of accommodation, available as part of their "packages", not all do so, and it is worth "shopping around", particularly if you have specific accommodation requirements.
The Hotel has three separate restaurants (The Solandra, La Cascada, and La Cupula). The Hotel's main restaurant is The Solandra, which offers a wide range of fresh foods from different countries to suit all tastes and food is also cooked freshly to order for both breakfast (omelettes, pancakes etc) and Dinner time (eg. pasta meals). Importantly, help is always on hand for those who have any special dietary requirements. Advance booking is required for those who wish to eat in either of the other restaurants and although some additional costs may be incurred, eating in either La Cascada or La Cupula restaurants does present a wonderful opportunity to celebrate that "special occasion".
Not only is The Jardines de Nivaria well located on "the sea front", there is ease of access from The Hotel (via the room card) to this area with a wide range of Restaurants and shops nearby.
In addition to what I have written about above, which I hope will be of help to those seeking to find a suitable resort area and hotel in Tenerife, I must not forget to mention the staff. It is fair to say that from the moment of our arrival, where we were warmly greeted by the reception staff, right throughout our stay, we could not have wished for a more pleasant experience. All the staff, whether receptionists, porters, restaurant staff, housekeeping, "salon" staff , gardeners, maintenance and not forgetting those working "in the office", should be thanked for their hard work and wonderful displays of kindness towards holidaymakers."
