"I marked this 3 stars. Jog enough power points for mobility scooters to find our scooter unplugged after waiting 2 days to charge it not good enough for 4 star. Reception staff very nice and pleasant very helpful. Cleaning we did our bit with not having the room cleaned every day butbon the days they cleaned did a good job few things missed no tissues replacement shower mat not replaced twice . Room 1033 wardrobe door did not close properly patio door did not lock. The towel rail attached to sink you can't reach the sink properly when you touch it falls off every time you touched it which you could not avoid as bathroom very tight squeeze. Seating for every floor at lift areas needed urgently especially when waiting long time for a lift and you have disability. We had bed and breakfast but we did not eat in hotel do can't comment on restaurant. Need to have a rethink on refurbishment"

"Wonderful week. Fourth visit to this hotel, Location central for most things. Sea front just out of the hotel by the pool and down some steps. Staff friendly Marta and team on reception welcoming. All the staff work hard to clean and provide the meals. Animation team really make sure you enjoy yourself. They put on a show during the week a lot of rehearsals are needed to make this possible , so well done. Thank you all for making my birthday special. Sorry I don’t remember all there names but Alicia and Valeria were so friendly and brilliant at there job. Also this year jewellery making was a craft session for adults and it was free this year. Food is really good great choices on all meals. Theme nights at dinner. Some entertainment every night a choice of music in the bar area or the show theatre."

"We had high expectations of this place as we paid ALOT and it was highly recommended but we found it just ok. Large hotel with lots of pointless empty spaces and corners around. Reception area is a little underwhelming. The lifts were absolutely dreadful, long queues for very slow lifts. We upgraded to a seaview room once there which was an extra £200, nice view, but very shabby decor which you don’t expect after already paying so much then paying that on top. The balconies are not very nice as once you sit on your chairs for the view you can’t see as the walls are so high. Beds were comfy but was not a king bed, two singles pushed together! The food was ok with lots of choices, although a little repetitive, the usual chips, pastas and pizza etc but sauces never changed. The breakfast was the best, but the queuing and waiting for toast machines was silly, lots of people bumping into each other and very busy. Not everything was labelled either which I struggled with as can’t have eggs. There is no waiter service for drinks at dinner here, so self service for that. Also don’t leave your plate too long unattended as they will come along and swipe it off your table! HEADS UP ON THIS ONE. We hired a car through reception, so they knew we was getting a car then once we had had it a few days they decided to let us know they charge £10 per day to park in your own hotel! Never come across that before! You also have to pay extra to use the safe! Oh and pay a deposit for the towels! Snacks was really not great, nothing fresh, it all looks like it’s just sat there and lots of pots with food left over from breakfast, nothing looked fresh and no one ever there at the stations cooking. The area is a little further away from fanabe, around a 10 minute walk which wasn’t too bad but in the heat up and down hills would be a struggle for some. Some great little bars and shops below the hotel though! The pools were ok, the main pyramid one was heated, still a little cold but not bad. The best part was the entertainers coming out in the mornings around the pool. The cleaners were good, friendly always said hello and cleaned to a good standard, although we didn’t have fresh sheets on our beds the whole week. For the smokers, there is no smoking in this hotel, just a naughty corner by the side gate in the gardens on the pool level, not even on the outside pool bar or the terrace bar up the top over looking the sea. Or you can go out the front of the hotel. All in all we thought it was just ok and wouldn’t return to this hotel or another iberostar but would return to the area!"
