"This will be the 4th time I have stayed at this hotel in the last 2 years and what can I say apart from you never disappoint!!! Normally I come with my partner but I came with my niece as a break away before she starts uni- she absolutely loved it!! Few things I tried this time round- Aqua bike, absolutely brilliant- loved it! We went to the Tina Turner tribute, Elton John tribute and the “White Party” absolutely fantastic!!! As always the facilities were amazing, food amazing but what makes this hotel the best is the TEAM. Always happy, speak to you like they WANT to not because they have too. These guys work from first thing in the morning till late at night- all of you guys, cleaners, housekeepers, food and drink team, reception team, maintaince team- you’re all amazing. "We went to Sabila for my partners 40th birthday. This was the second time we've been and will unfortunately be our last. First of all, the staff are absolutely wonderful! Nothing was too much trouble and they were always there to help. That's the only thing that hadn't changes between our visits. The hotel itself is looking a little dated, especially the halls where the carpets were looking worn and had some stains/bleach marks on them and definitely the room we were in. When we walked into the room there was a strong musty smell and the sink didn't drain that well so I'm assuming there was a slight blockage in there. The phone didn't work in our room, that was fixed within an hour though. The safe also stopped working properly towards the end of our stay, I'm sure that would have been fixed too if reported but we were leaving the next day. The balcony furniture is not something I'd say was 5*, it was just basic plastic table and chairs. Room cleaning was extremely good though and towels were changed daily if needed as well as the bed sheets. There were some areas of the pool area that had cracked tiles and looked run down. The sunbed app worked ok but I really disagree with having to pay 5€ per person per day if you want to book further then 2 days in advance, as a 5* hotel this didn't sit right with me and feels like a money grab. The white sunbeds are even worse at 100€ per day. This is disgusting and should not be a thing at an expensive hotel! It feels a lot more cramped than last time we came to the point of if your neighbour wants to put the sun umbrella up, that means you were in the shade too whether you wanted to be or not! The pool side snack cafe was good value for money and tastey too, again the staff we're really nice and helpful! The Gourmet Market was a bit confusing and we wasn't asked how we wanted our burgers cooked, it came out pink in the middle so we were put off eating it. Also, it seems it was open to the public so there was a chance that children would come in, something you don't expect in an adults only hotel. We were B&B, the food was fresh each morning but it was the same thing every morning and got boring towards the end. It was also busy and we had to wait a few times to be seated and for tea/coffee. There are plenty of restaurants in the surrounding area though. All in all the hotel is ok, the staff/cleaning team are wonderful and we did have a relaxing time, I wouldn't say it was a 5* hotel anymore and this visit wasn't as special as the first time we visited unfortunately"
