This convenient aparthotel is located right on the vibrant Avenue de España in the centre of Costa Adeje, making for an ideal base for a fun and sun-soaked holiday on the largest island in the Canaries. Here you’ll be just a 10-minute stroll away from the soft, volcanic sand of La Pinta and Fañabé beaches.

Whether you can drag yourself out of Hovima is another thing. The resort has three pools (two for adults, one for kids), all heated in the winter months, and if you fancy a spot of tennis, there’s a court available for booking.

Costa Adeje hugs the shoreline on Tenerife’s south-west coast. It’s fronted by golden beaches and backed by mountains with peaks so sky-high they get lost in the clouds. Thanks to its high-end hotels, fine dining restaurants and designer shopping scene, this is Tenerife’s most upmarket resort. Holidays to Costa Adeje tend to revolve around the beach and hotel spas by day, and involve good meals and cocktails with live music after dark. In areas like Playa del Duque, expect mood-lit restaurants overlooking the beach, and just a couple of low-key bars. Menus in these parts are pricier than the rest of the island, but the food is top-notch. Expect a heavy seafood influence, with local specialities like Galician octopus tempting tastebuds.
