Hotel El Duque

"not THAT dirty, but not too clean. saw multiple cockroaches on the balcony, around the pool, and in the room, and hundreds upon HUNDREDS of wee bugs in our bathroom, especially at night. wasn’t even going out of my way to look for them, and i shouldn’t have to be washing down my toothbrush when i go to wash my face at night because bugs have been crawling over it and all over the shower. bathroom door handle also came off and it was a big struggle to even shut the door. some of the staff were so unpleasant and was pretty much scared to go up and get a drink half the time - and the all inclusive ones were crap. food always cold, and left it half the time. sunloungers were all dirty and broken and it was really hard to actually find clean ones. general staff pretty rude apart from evelyn, isma and daniela - only people that give this place any kind of good rating. always try their hardest - especially evelyn, made a real effort and very professional."

"the real star of this hotel was the entertainment, especially Evelyn. She made a huge effort to engage with all guests and created a fun and engaging atmosphere and environment. she spoke to us many times and each was an excellent experience. she is polite, funny and amazing at her job and goes above and beyond, true credit to the hotel."

"Hotel is nice bar staff and restaurant staff amazing will help with anything food was good different every night and was her for 10 nights The children’s entertainment and kids club EVELYN went above and beyond with the children tempered all there names and was very friendly in side the hotel and outside she would be an asset to any hotel they are luck to have her thank you so much EVELYN you are a star"
