GF Victoria

"We stayed for a week bed & breakfast in November. The hotel is spotless and is in a fantastic location. Check in was super quick and our room was really spacious but I did feel a tad dated. The curtains had lots of stains and the toilet in the main bedroom had a stale smell about it. We also had issues with the TV and as we have a toddler, earlier nights mean TV is an essential for us. Reception were quick to sort issues but compared with other hotels we have stayed at, I felt the rooms could do with a little TLC. We also never had our tea replenished throughout our entire stay, we had to ask for this to be done which you would not expect from a 5 star hotel. The pools were fantastic, perfect for our 4 year old gaining confidence in the water, they were also surprisingly warm, our experience at other hotels in Tenerife & Lanzarote during winter months was always freezing so this was a lovely surprise. The splash pool was also perfect for our little one. The breakfast buffet was fantastic, so much choice and we usually went around 8.30am so it wasn’t too busy. Perhaps our favourite thing was the location, we walked so much during our stay and with so many restaurants nearby, we were glad we were just bed & breakfast. We would stay again and would recommend to other families."

"We booked victoria last minute after cancelling GF Gran,due to dreadful reviews. We had been to GF Gran many times for a long time but post renovation reviews made us change. The GF Victoria was lovely. Welcome drink,helpful check in and concierge service to the room to explain everything. The suite was stunning, 2 bathrooms, massive balcony and rituals toiletries, plus nesoresso coffee and water. All replenished by a great room service team. Our room over looked the garden area ,was lovely . Breakfast was the best selection we've had and great quality. As a couple I feel we should have been offered adults only, for first two days we were sat in the most child occupied and noisy part of restaurant. It was so loud! Only on day 3 did we see and request adults only area- lovely ! Staff training for couples space maybe needed? There was a lovely adults pool, no signage to indicate this and some parents regardless of having 3 other fantastic kids pools chose to come to the tranquil adults pool! 🙈😳 We loved the sky bar and spent our evenings there, lovely and chilled. All staff helpful and friendly, room cleaned immaculately and beautiful hotel, just too many kids , as in the most I've ever seen at at any hotel its great there is a lux hotel for families but it felt family orientated rather than couples. Had a wonderful time as we always set out to enjoy our break, however too many children for a couples break hotel and amenities absolutely 💯 however."

"We really enjoyed our stay at GF Victoria in Tenerife. The hotel is very family friendly, with excellent facilities for children of all ages, including splash pools and well-organised afternoon activities. As our son is under 4 and can’t be left alone, we used the hotel’s recommended Mini Amigos nanny agency for babysitting, which made a big difference to our holiday. They provided support during the day and in-room babysitting in the evenings, allowing us to enjoy relaxed meals while our child slept. The kids’ club and baby club were clean, welcoming, and run by friendly, helpful staff. All hotel staff we met were professional and accommodating, and the room was a good size for our family. The food across the hotel was very good, with plenty of choice and variety. Donaire was a highlight and well worth visiting, and the Sky Bar was excellent for evening drinks with great views (adults only). Overall, it was a comfortable and enjoyable stay, and somewhere we would happily return to."
