Chatur Playa Real Resort

"I really don't know what to write about our stay here but will try. Upon arrival the room (206) is dated and decor from the 80's that aside we got ourselves ready and headed down to get some snacks as we had missed the 3pm cutoff for lunch. The snacks are stored in heated glass containers usual burgers hot dogs etc. However they were always like warm at best and need to be put in the microwave, later in the stay we watched the food sit on the side for at least 20minutes before being transferred to the glass cabinets so no wonder it was cold. We awoke the next morning to find little bugs crawling all over the floor, on the fridge and on the table in the living area, it was that bad we had to put the table on the balcony out of the way! That day reception rang to see if all was ok, I informed them about the bugs and the table they quickly replaced the table which is fine but nothing to address the bug situation?I do have a video of the bugs in action which I showed to reception as they told me the cleaning boss had gone up and not seen anything even though I told them it's 1st thing in the morning (can't post video here only pics? Also massive gaps at the side of the patio doors which won't help with the bugs? We raised it a few times with reception and expected a deep clean maybe? But we were then told they don't clean on Sundays?? So we had no fresh towels either for the Monday as we are checking out that day. I asked at reception and they said we would get some by 9.30.....still waiting now! Onto the food and drink.... This has been the most expensive all inclusive holiday we've had due to having to go out to eat more than normal as the food is average at best and the queuing system is crazy and it's red hot in the dining area, the drinks in the black and white pub are the same unfortunately as they are limited to 2 per person and they only have one person serving even though the hotel is full? Takes forever to get another drink. So in closing do I think this is a 3 star hotel... I have to say no I don't and I spoke with the jet2 rep and told her the same and said I wouldn't want this hotel on my books if I was jet2 and I certainly wouldn't stay here again especially as things didn't improve even after raising our concerns"

"Entertainment was the worst I have ever experienced. .Hotel was very clean lopvely staff. Food was OK but only luke warm This is definitely NOT a 4 star"

"The staff are lovely and my room is nice and clean, however I found the food to be mediocre dry and bland. the wifi is terrible and practically non existent. The cocktails come out of a machine and are not made by staff"
