"Our first family holiday in October and we all had the best time. Staff were super friendly, breakfast was brilliant, my 4 year old daughter was loving having the doughnuts at breakfast. It’s the first holiday we have taken Dad away with us and he found it very accessible. Location was amazing and our apartment was everything that we needed. Pool area could be slightly updated but didn’t stop my daughter from living in it every day. Also the pool bar is card only which we weren’t aware of beforehand and had converted most of our money to euros. Hope to visit again same time next year to celebrate Dads 70th :)"

"Won’t step foot in this hotel ever again! Didn’t get the room we paid for, hotel wouldn’t do anything to resolve the issue, although we gave them plenty of solutions. Thought our situation was funny and laughed at us and said ‘don’t know what to do with you’ manager was happy to listen to receptionist version of event. Manager was willing to throw three females out of hotel with nowhere to go. Wouldn’t rate this hotel as a 4 star hotel, absolute joke."

"⭐ 1 star - Absolutely no relaxing stay Very disappointing stay. We came here for peace and relaxation, but barely slept for three nights. The first three nights we had serious noise pollution from loud music and booming bass from cafes right below our room. This went on late into the night. We have reported this multiple times at the reception. The hotel was aware of this and the receptionist herself said that this happens often. Yet, after multiple complaints, there was no solution... As if that wasn't enough, we were jolted out of bed in the morning by drilling and construction work from the hotel itself. So can't sleep at night because of the cafes and can't sleep in in the morning because of the hotel. Eventually we asked for another room. We even indicated that we were perfectly fine with a smaller room, as long as we had peace and quiet. Instead, we had to pay €120 extra for a room that, according to the manager, Enrica, would be an "absolute upgrade" because of the sea view. We found that particularly strange, since our original room also had a sea view and even two balconies with a sea view. The second room also absolutely did not feel like an upgrade: the room was in dire need of renovation, the toilet seat was loose, and the beds were rock hard. There were also works and various things out of use in the hotel itself. The spa unfortunately offered little: several buttons/functions of the pool were defective and the steam bath was out of order. As "compensation" for three nights of severe noise pollution, we received a spa voucher, even though we had already received a spa voucher upon arrival. We found this to be no adequate compensation for three nights in which we could not sleep normally. We also found manager Enrica's attitude to be very disappointing. We had hoped that after multiple reports a serious solution would be sought. Instead, we ultimately had to pay €120 for a room that was sold to her as an upgrade, even though we hadn't asked for an upgrade and certainly didn't want one. In short: three nights of noise pollution, waking up in the morning to drilling work, a room that is undergoing renovation, rock-hard beds, a loose toilet seat, defective spa facilities, and then having to pay €120 for a supposed "upgrade". For us, this was absolutely not a relaxing stay and we advise everyone against it! In short: Costa Adeje was a huge disappointment for us. We came to Tenerife for peace, sun, and the beautiful island we had seen in the pictures. In reality, we found Costa Adeje to be a busy, touristy resort full of nightlife, many British holidaymakers, and traffic. We noticed little of peace and authenticity here. Luckily we had a rental car and escaped this place every day. That might have been the best thing we could do in hindsight. A small advantage is that the most beautiful places in Tenerife are surprisingly quiet and much less touristy outside of Costa Adeje. Apparently, many tourists prefer to stay in their claimed beach bed or move within a five-kilometer radius on their scooter from bar to bar. For those who want to discover the beautiful, quiet, and authentic Tenerife, it is in our opinion best to avoid Costa Adeje. For us, this was absolutely not the Tenerife we had envisioned beforehand."
