"Fantastic boutique hotel in Triana close to the Santa Ana church, and just a couple of minutes from the river front on Calle Betis, and perhaps five minutes down to the Triana Market. It is a pleasant 15 minutes or so stroll across the river to the Cathedral and Royal Alcazar. The hotel is also in close proximity to the metro and bus stops, though when walking and the hot sun got too much we found taxis to be plentiful and good value.
Credit first to the whole Triana House team. We would ideally name check them all, from front desk, housekeeping - always came back to an immaculate room - and the joyous breakfast staff, but would thank Grazia in particular for all her help with restaurant bookings, suggestions plus wine glasses, plates, cutlery, serviettes when we made the most of our terrace for a wine, cheese and iberico ham night in.
We had booked almost a year ahead of our stay choosing the Malaga room, with its splendid private balcony. Malaga is on the top (second) floor accessed via the glorious stairs or via the hotel's lift.
The room whilst relatively compact is a design triumph. With substance as well as style. Incredibly comfortable bed and pillows. Decent built in storage with plenty of hanging space, the usual safe, robes and slippers, USB charge points. Limited light pollution to start with however the black out blinds were super effective. The aircon is centrally controlled from reception, though they will set it to whatever your liking.
Excellent bathroom with a splendid shower and super fluffy towels. Great water pressure and loads of hot water.
The standout point of the room is of course its splendid external space, which is about as large as the room itself. Table and chairs, comfortable sofa, lighting and of course the water feature.
Whilst Triana has no shortage of great restaurants the terrace demanded that one night of our stay we buy a bottle of wine, some high quality iberico ham and sheep cheese we just sit out on our terrace and feast on local Andalusian bounty.
The Malaga room proved to be the perfect choice.
Breakfast is served in the splendidly decorated basement, offering a wider choice on the buffet, plus eggs cooked to order. The breakfast staff are welcoming and upbeat, and get the day off to a great start. Whilst the hotel only has seven rooms you do need to specify either an 08:00 or 09:00 breakfast slot, though not to exact minute!

As the website indicates the hotel is not minimalist in design, rather quite the opposite, but it all works perfectly, and is an oasis of calm and peace, though having a wide range of bars and restaurants just moments from its front door.
We found staying in Triana, rather than old town Seville over the river, to be hugely advantageous. Triana is off course on the doorstep, whilst all the city atractions are just across the river.
The hotel can arrange tickets for Teatro Flamenco - less than a five minute walk from the hotel - which is brilliant and we would recommend without hesitation.
The whole area, and we were regularly walking back late evening, felt very safe. Whilst reception is manned until 23:00 a key fob ensures easy access for guests 24/7.
