If the Royal Alcazar – a UNESCO World Heritage site – is top your list, you can reach it in about 15 minutes on foot. Spend a couple of hours rambling through the courtyards and marvelling at the ornate, carved ceilings. Just a minutes’ walk from there is Seville Cathedral and La Giralda Tower – a couple of the city’s most iconic buildings.
When you’ve had your fill of history, stroll the 10 minutes to La Encarnación Square and take in the view of the city from the Space Metropol Parasol, a new addition to the city skyline that’s well worth a visit.
As for wining and dining, you’ll find plenty of that in these streets as well. From local tapas bars to contemporary restaurants and cosy pubs, there’s something to suit every vibe round these parts. This part of the world is famed for its Gazpacho and Pescaíto frito – a fried fish delicacy best enjoyed with a squeeze of fresh lemon and a cold beer.
