"Small Spanish coloured hotel, tucked away in a very narrow street, very centrally placed within the old town area of Seville - all main attractions within a very short walk. Cannot fault housekeeping and helpfulness of reception staff (extra towel, kettle to room, replenish conditioner, replace safe battery - all remedied immediately) but negatives to be mentioned: Towels - some often very worn/had holes in. Breakfast - set up at 8am to 11am. I imagine if hotel full, items replenished often but sadly during our stay by 9am the scrambled eggs had a dry film and needed slicing, mushrooms dried out and bacon wet - all kept almost luke warm in a heating pan. Cereal, cheese (triangle slices), ham, yoghurt and breads - main fruit bowl looked past its best (bananas black on day two). Sadly, the coffee/hot water machine was not good - I personally would prefer freshly poured tea/coffee at breakfast and fresh milk (not UHT from the cupboard). Room - ours (deluxe) inward facing so only window was to a corridor - quietly away from opposite hotel building works (on weekdays) but no fresh air flow - thankfully the air conditioning worked. Surrounding rooms bathroom showers/flushing toilets could be heard. Bathroom huge but the room a depressing dark space with no good natural light. Evidently rooms booked via tour operator differ considerably to others as when we asked to upgrade, we were informed these are reserved for hotel direct bookings (likely lovely images on website/somewhat misleading?) Rooftop - sitting area pleasant and a few items of gym equipment available. All things considered, corridors, reception and lounge area lovely, clean, bright, well decorated and a comfortable bed (take ear plugs) but hotel not worthy of their star rating in our opinion (should be a 3 at very best?) Breakfast poor (maybe consider a very good continental breakfast rather than trying to include a dreadful cooked English option?); bedrooms tired and dark but location excellent. Would we stay here again? Likely no."

"This hotel is absolutely stunning and it’s right in the heart of Seville, close to all the main attractions and near lots of reasonable tapas bars and gelato shops. The staff are polite helpful and really friendly. The breakfast buffet is excellent and there’s a beautiful lounge where you can relax and get free coffees and nibbles and water. A welcome addition when you want a rest from the sun and sight seeing. I can highly recommend this hotel. It’s gorgeous!"

"ATTENTION, very beautiful place, good bed, good breakfast and kindness, but do not take the room on the street because there is an annoying construction site with excavators and other machinery that is demolishing the interiors! Absurd noise starting from 6:50 in the morning! I do not understand why they do not say it at the reception! I asked for a quiet room because I have sleep problems and not on the street if possible. I was told that it was quiet and the construction site was closed yesterday afternoon when we arrived. So I did not notice the danger. And I did not think they would start work so early! But it seems they have a permit because they have to block the street and make this noise at dawn! So if you come here, be careful that they do not give you the room on the street which, by the way, has the problem of tourists and locals and noise until 12-1 at night. I asked for a room change for this doubt after 1 hour and another employee had proposed another room on the ground floor near the breakfast area with an internal window next to the coffee machines, which was more expensive, by the way, on the breakfast room. I said no, but if I had known about the construction site at that absurd hour... if they had said things clearly! Anyway, for the rest, the hotel is good."
