With its magnificent salons, courtyards and stunning gardens, it’s no surprise that the palace was used as a filming location for the epic TV series Game of Thrones.

    The passionate music and dance of flamenco is an old tradition in Seville and you can learn about its history in the Flamenco Museum, only a 10-minute walk from Hotel Cervantes. If you’re after a truly authentic experience, head to the old neighbourhood of Triana, which is 30 minutes away on foot or 10 minutes by bike. Here, you can duck into one of the tablaos, where the best shows are performed.
