Exe Sevilla Macarena

A stone’s throw from one of the 12th century gates that marks the entrance to Seville’s Old City, Exe Sevilla Macarena is a great base for a few days soaking up the culture here – and get ready, ‘cause there’s lots of it. 

From the Royal Alcazar and the cathedral to the character-filled old city streets, you’ll have plenty to pack out your schedule here. Your best bet for getting across the city is the handy bus network, and there’s even a stop just outside the hotel. 

If you fancy getting your steps in, walk the 30 minutes to Barrio Santa Cruz and you’ll find labyrinth-like streets, art galleries, and artisan shops. If you need to escape the buzz of the city for a minute, enjoy the tranquil gardens of Parque de Maria Luisa – an expansive green space filled with fountains, sculptures, and monuments. 

You could head back to the hotel, either, where there’s a rooftop pool and terrace that makes as good a spot as any to take a load off. There’s a poolside bar, too, which has a menu of light snacks and refreshing cocktails.
