"We stayed here only one night after a whirlwind trip through Spain and Morocco. It would have been fantastic to have stayed here longer. It's in a great location, within walking distance to everything and the vibe was very cool. If you are looking for a true hotel, this may not be your thing, it's run a little more like a bed and breakfast. The service/staff are great but it didn't have a traditional hotel experience.
Check in was seemless. We had one of their two suites and I can't imagine staying in any other accommodation here. The suite was about three quarters to half the price of other luxury hotel suites in Seville. (We stayed at Coolrooms Villapontes for the first part of our trip and also had a great suite experience.)
Our suite had a private elevator and, although smaller than traditional suites, felt more like a pedde e tierre apartment. Smaller rooms but it felt more like a 'home away from home' with a small bedroom, small living room and small bathroom. It also had a fantastic little courtyard with a tiny plunge pool and two lounge chairs and umbrella. For couples, this would be an ideal accomodation in Seville to feel more like a local than a tourist.
The room's decor was very classic ... like something from the 1920's. A bit like your old, wealthy aunt's home. It had a lot of high end embroidered curtains and patterned wallpapers ... all the little luxury touches one would want from an interior designer's standpoint. It was as close to staying in a featured small apartment in an Architectural Digest feature but it was anything but modern. More classic decor.
The shower was amazing for those who like a nice, high water pressure rainfall shower. There were two small corner sinks and a commode. The living room had a small couch and two plush chairs. It almost felt too nice to use but all the furniture was comfortable.
The hotel sent up a nice bottle of Cava on a silver ice bucket for our anniversary, which we enjoyed on the balcony. There was an event happening, so the magnificent courtyard and restaurant was closed but we were able to peak in and it was fantastic. There were scented candles in the lobby ... but no doorman or luggage carts, so if you have a lot of luggage, the check-in and check-out process can be a bit chaotic.
There is no parking onsite ... but a nearby garage is available and the hotel can set everything up for a space. The streets are narrow and due to construction, confusing as many of the streets are marked with arrows pointing in the opposite direction. If you don't need a car during your stay, that's the best advice.
Overall, our stay was fantastic and the staff were so friendly and accommodating. The front desk manager was amazing and helpful in every way. If you want a traditional hotel experience, this isn't it. If you want unique and something you'll remember ... book a suite and enjoy living like a local in Seville for a few days. It was a very great stay and we are already planning our return."
