"Last night tonight, stayed here for 12 days through jet2 , I’ve got too say that in the twelve days we had 8 power cuts which isn’t the best , it stated that we 400 meters away from the beach which was a lie it’s a 19 min walk from the beach from the hotel which is not good if your partner has arthritis and can’t walk that far , taxis are over priced , public transport (buses ) and the drivers are rude , Son Bou itown is tiny , food is over priced and basically it’s a very expensive place too stay shame really disappointed with the place it’s beautiful but won’t return again , sorry Jet2 but let us down in my opinion and wasn’t worth the money, gutted is a understatement"

"MAGNIFICO! Mar Blau is a real gem if you enjoy peace and tranquility. Here's the stuff we liked: Apartments. Great space, clean, well appointed and all you need. Air con works well. Nice showers. Excellent to have your own wee terrace and area out the back with a washing line. Pool. Loads of space and sunbeds. Not an olympic pool, but quiet and what you need for a dip and cooling off and a swim. Gardens. Well appointed and maintained, leading to great views across the prat to Son Bou beach. Staff. All friendly and helpful. Efficient and well run. Tips. We didnt use, but plenty parking if you are driving. Room safe available, small cost for this. Shops Jardin de Menorca is nearer than San Jaime if you are carrying water etc. Laundry room, you might find a beach brolly in there if heading there- saves buying one! Books - hundreds there to swap. Water. Put a bottle in the freezer and it stays cool. Do - walk the Cami De Cavalls sections you can manage. You will not be disappointed! Stunning wildlife and scenery. Do - get to the beach and swim. Location - ok it's 15 minutes walk to main centre but reasonably flat and gets your steps up. Enjoy your stroll! Plenty places to eat."

"Apartments were very spacious and well equipped for self catering. Private patio with sun lounger's, table and chairs. The cleaners were fantastic, sheets and towels changed every 2 days, they were always very polite and friendly. There wasn’t many people around the pool so there were always plenty of sun beds. The pool bar staff were very friendly and served the best cold beer, we didn’t try any food but it was always busy with people eating. The gardens were very pretty and well maintained. It was the nicest place we have ever stayed and we had the most relaxing holiday. We can’t wait to return. Check - in was quick and Juan was very friendly welcoming us and giving all the information needed on the local area. ."
