"The Barceló Nura is a wonderful resort that is a nice walk to Punta Prima beach. The staff is service oriented and extremely accommodating. The breakfast spread was vast with pretty much anything you wanted. I would definitely recommend and come back again"

"Good hotel, but not quite 5-star Barceló Nura is modern and attractive, with good facilities and some really friendly, hardworking staff. We enjoyed our stay, but having been to a few 5-star hotels now, there was a gap between the facilities and the service With regard to the Hotel itself, the main issue was attentiveness. Staff were pleasant enough, but you could tell teams were stretched and at times not experienced enough — service felt reactive rather than proactive. At this price point we’d expect more anticipation of what guests need, those little personal touches. Small things add up too. Breakfast, for instance — queuing for tea or coffee from a machine rather than table service felt more 4-star than 5 and Nescafé packets for coffee in the rooms. The changes needed to elevate the hotel basics are small but would make things much better. The location is peaceful and secluded, which will suit some, but there’s not much evening atmosphere. Places outside of the hotel are limited, but there is a gem of a restaurant about 5 min walk away. Plenty to like here and the staff work hard, but compared to other 5-star hotels on Menorca, it fell short on service and the personal touches that make a stay feel special."

"My wife and I wanted to stay somewhere nice and relaxing to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. I knew the perfect place existed, but had little idea where it might be. My wife found it: Barceló Nura. We were so well looked after by every member of staff, who were all such nice people and brilliant at their jobs. The food was fresh and high-quality, with a daily abundance of varying, tasty vegan options, all patiently explained to my wife by the staff. The facilities were top-notch (five clean pools, well-equipped gym, lovely spa and a very pleasant rooftop bar with great views of the sea and sunset), and the whole place was always spotless. Even after an overnight storm, everything was clean and back in its rightful place by the time we got up the following morning. Barcelo Nura’s guests come from a number of nations, which keeps it interesting, and is great for families, couples and small groups. What made our stay even more special were the surprise gifts we received on our anniversary itself - a bottle of cava on ice, a plate of fresh fruit and a handwritten card - all delivered with a smile to our room as we sat outside, soaking up the sun. If you’re looking for a relaxing stay in luxurious surroundings, this is the place for you."
