"THIS HOTEL HAS RECENTLY CHANGED HANDS. We spent 10 days there on a B&B basis. We had a lovely spotless superior twin room which was so very quiet. Our maids were superb even tho we often said do not clean as not necessary. All the staff without exception were superb from reception to the restaurant and maid service. The hotel was spotless and extremely well managed, so much praise must be given to management and staff training. We are about to book again for October 26. There was also a very convenient lift down to the marina approximately 100 metres from the hotel, with numerous bars and restaurants. A big thank you to every member of the staff - SUPERB - we loved you all. Jenny and Dr Brian Smith"

"Beautiful hotel staff very helpful & friendly. Pool was stunning and food very good. The only thing I don't agree with is paying for the safe albeit just Euros15. Rooms cleaned / made up daily which was brilliant"

"We spent a week at the Senator hotel. The staff were wonderful especially Mario in the restaurant and the bar maid with pink hair!! The location is perfect for a wander down to the restaurants on the harbour ( warning, lots of steps) but we often took the bus from just outside the hotel to the old town which is full of lovely shops, bars and restaurants. The bedroom was adequate but could do with a larger wardrobe which goes from side to side not back to front. There was an Elton John tribute act on one night who was excellent and there was a great atmosphere. The breakfast is good with plenty of choice but the buffet and other foods were not great, but we enjoy eating out. The pool area is lovely and always a sunbed available. At a 4 star hotel though little things like paying for a safe key was a little OTT. Overall a lovely hotel and perfect for couples wanting to relax."
