Cala Llonga Hotel Menorca

"Amazing hotel let down by rude, unhelpful staff. Unfortunately our flight was cancelled and we got put at this hotel. We arrived around midnight with two young kids to be met with staff who gave off the impression they did not want us there. I completely get that it wasn’t something they were expecting but it also wasn’t a pleasant time for us either. The rudeness continued at breakfast where two staff members just kept looking at us. One of them asked our room number, never spoke to us again just to her colleague in Spanish. There wasn’t much on offer for breakfast. I also went to fill my daughter’s drink bottle with water and was told if I wanted to do that I would need to buy a bottle instead. So I got two cups of water and filled it up that way. How ridiculous if the water is there to drink. The good parts are; the hotel really is lovely. The rooms are a really decent size and the views are fab! The grounds also seemed very well kept. It’s a real shame for our experience as without the rudeness we experienced we would have very much thought about coming back here."

"What a magical place! Very friendly staff, the rooms are beautiful and clean and the sea view is absolutely breathtaking. The breakfast buffet has a nice variety of foods and they’re all delicious. The restaurant inside the building is also very convenient, they have various dishes such as tapas, salads, burgers, pastas and pizzas. Our flight back home was very early so we didn’t have the chance to go to the breakfast buffet, so they prepared us a basket with a full breakfast. The service was free and it was very appreciated. Definitely would recommend this place."

"We discovered this gem of a hotel several years ago , without doubt it is one of the best hotels on Menorca offering friendly attentive service to its guests. The restaurant serves a delicious breakfast. Beautiful food and drinks from a well stocked bar are available all day until late evening . The rooms large extremely clean cool, fresh and tastefully decorated with an apartment like feel …fridge , microwave and hob …. and a balcony with amazing views. The staff friendly, attentive nothing is too much trouble. 5 stars in my opinion."
