"The Best Holiday Our Family Has Ever Had – Thank You From the Bottom of Our Hearts ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Where do we even begin? We have just returned home from an unforgettable week at Grupotel Macarella Suites & Spa in Cala'n Bosch, and we can honestly say this has been the best family holiday we have ever experienced.
From the moment we arrived until the day we sadly had to leave, every single member of staff made us feel genuinely welcome. It never felt like we were just another family staying at the hotel – you made us feel like part of your family, and that is something we will never forget.
The reception team gave us the warmest welcome, making check-in effortless and setting the tone for what turned out to be the most incredible holiday.
We have to give a very special thank you to Lucho at the poolside bar. Lucho, you are an absolute credit to this hotel. Your kindness, warmth and genuine care for every guest is something truly special. You always greeted us with the biggest smile, and nothing was ever too much trouble.
What touched us most was how patient and encouraging you were with our son, Jake, who is learning Spanish and wanted to order everything in Spanish. You listened with respect, encouraged him, replied in Spanish, and always made him feel proud of himself. Those little moments meant the world to us as parents and have given Jake even more confidence. We are genuinely going to miss seeing you every day.

A huge thank you also goes to Sonia, whose smile could brighten anyone's day. She has such a beautiful personality and always made us feel so welcome. Every drink came with a smile, and nothing was ever too much trouble.
Angel was another member of the team who made every day special. Every morning started with a warm greeting and a friendly smile that instantly put us in a great mood. It's amazing how much those little acts of kindness mean when you're on holiday.
To the entire poolside bar team – thank you. Every cocktail (and we certainly enjoyed plenty throughout the week!) was made perfectly, and every interaction was filled with genuine warmth and friendliness. Your hospitality was second to none.
In the restaurant, Henry welcomed us on our first day and explained everything so clearly while making us feel completely at home, Very fun personality.
Cynthia was simply wonderful. Always smiling, always welcoming, and always happy to help. A credit to the - The restaurant staff work incredibly hard, yet they never stop smiling. The food was excellent every day, with an amazing choice for everyone, and the cleanliness and presentation were absolutely first class.
Finally, we want to say a huge thank you to the housekeeping team. We have travelled to many places over the years, but we have never experienced such an exceptional standard of cleanliness. Our suite was spotless every single day, and the care and attention that went into your work did not go unnoticed.
To Lucho, Sonia, Angel, Henry, Cynthia, the reception team, housekeeping, and everyone whose names we didn't manage to catch, thank you from the bottom of our hearts. You didn't just give us a holiday—you gave our family memories that we will treasure forever.
The hotel itself is beautiful, but it's the incredible people who work there that make it truly special.
There is no question about it—we will be returning. We are already looking at booking our next stay because leaving felt like saying goodbye to friends.
