Ilunion Menorca

"We stayed at Ilunion Costa Sal last year and everything was great—especially Rodolfo, who recommended we visit Ilunion Menorca, where he was based for the summer. We booked the trip and had an incredible two weeks; congratulations to the whole staff. The island is beautiful, but without a doubt, neither Lanzarote nor Menorca would have made such a huge impact on our family if not for "El Cubanito." You're a legend, Rodolfo—wherever you are, we'll be back."

"Be warned do not book this hotel! They will edit your booking and refuse to acknowledge it and ignore you and offer not support to amend the issue. We booked for a two-bedroom apartment in January and received confirmation. We later discovered the booking had been changed in the hotel's system in February, but we were never informed. The issue only came to light when we checked the booking ourselves. We were disappointed both by the downgrade and by the lack of apology or meaningful attempt to resolve the situation. We have booked and paid for 2 bedroom apartment and on arrival we will be allocated a 1 bed despite then having 2 weeks to resolve this. Against all customer rights and breach of contract the hotel has no intention of resolving the issue. No booking of an additional room or finding accommodation elsewhere on the island. We have yet to receive an apology. I advise you not book at this hotel they will take the money and provide an inferior product, stay well clear. We are currently stuck with a hotel room too small for our family of 4, no space anywhere in our desired location and even if we booked somewhere else this hotel has our money. No offer of compensation. For such a large hotel company we have been offered no support from head office either. Extremely dissatisfied with our experience."

"Cannot say enough good things about Esmeralda. The kindest woman there ever was, she deserves the world!!!! Everyone else was amazing but nobody compares. She provides 5 star service and anyone would be lucky to stay at a property she maintains and runs."
