"Excellent service from friendly staff apart from busy evenings bar service. Our room was small with a limites sea view. Very good location. The lifts were a nightnare but overall the week was good value."

"This hotel is a little gem. Views from the hotel across a beach and the sea. The rooms are spacious and well presented. The buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner give excellent choices and the food is first class. We book via hotels.com and have visited hotel for last 5 years. Fantastic value for balcony rooms with many with sea view. The staff are excellent. I like to visit different areas of the world but this is one hotel I keep returning to"

"Great hotel, good location. I liked that I was able to walk all along the promenade and see the shops. The castle was a good experience. The food was fine. I always found something I liked, and the deserts were irresistible. I did find the coffee machines in the restaurant were disappointing. Much better to get a freshly ground coffee from the bar after. I was happy with the room, but I do think kettles should be provided as standard. The shower was fabulous and the water dispensers in the corridor were great. The staff were wonderful and seemed to enjoy their work, always with a smile. I felt the entertainment was mostly poor and could be improved. Sometimes, it coincided with the restaurant opposite, and sitting in the bar terrace you could hear both simultaneously which was crazy for my brain! The other restaurant was usually more to my taste. I would have liked the background music in the restaurant and bar to be songs by the original artists and not poor cover versions. The cleanliness of the hotel was to a good standard. Overall I enjoyed my holiday and would return."
