"I only ever speak the truth so read on. .my husband myself along with our daughter and 2 granddaughters were here for a week. We were all excited to spend time together in the sun. So let me fill you in on some ups and downs of this hotel. Firstly the ups The hotel is lovely. Clean albeit a bit of tlc wouldnt go amiss. Our room was 522 which I must admit was fantastic, a balcony to be envied to say the least. It was HUGE, if you get this room be truly thankful. I will try and add video (dont hold your breath though) the room is spacious with great storage for clothes and luggage. The staff were second to none happy, helpful, cheerful and would do anything to help, give advise, directions etc. The guys at Jordis bar were great, they go far and beyond to serve,amuse entertain etc. If i could give them 11 out of 10 I would. The beds were comfy for my husband and I but our girls did not find them at all comfortable. NOTE as British people we like our cuppa in the morning. So we asked at reception and within the hour a kettle cups etc were delivered. Yayyyy There is wine beer soft drinks etc on tap in the buffet and I gave to say the wine is actually not bad The room is cleaned daily to a high standard and towels changed to. The downs The food is often cold.....well tepid. We mentioned this on day 2 of our holiday but nothing changed which was disappointing.. There is plenty of choice of food each night which is usually themed we managed to find something to eat but again was not hot so a bit of a downer If you want hot food go as soon as possible to start of serving but that is not always possible. As for what is described as 4 star we were sorry to see football tops in the restaurant at night. This should be addressed by staff. I am Scottish but I did find it annoying to see a sea of green and white hoops , the fact that mo management addressed this at dinner was not expected for 4 star. Also, speaking of management. No one seems to address that children are in the adults only part of the pool. Nor did they do anything about uncontrolled children running up and down the corridors until after midnight. This should be controlled by the patents but I fear the all inclusive aspects dulls the parents responsibilities The entertainment is actually quite good. We spent a few nights on the patio area but I just admit that as our balcony overlooked the stage we watched some from there. Now I know people would be thinking what a moan! however I am not moaning just making you aware of the situation Let me finish by saying..if you are looking for a hotel near bars restaurants etc then go ahead. If you are looking for non football banter,(especially Scottish/Irish) then dont go Would i go again...no!!! I wouldn't go again only because of the football aspect and lack of management taking control of aspects as mentioned earlier On a high note thank you to all the staff for making our holiday a pleasant experience"
