"Great location, nice pool area, and varied food – with small drawbacks. We spent our family vacation at the Hipotels Mediterráneo Club in Sa Coma on Mallorca and had a nice time overall. Especially the excellent location directly on the beautiful beach and the spacious pool landscape convinced us. Location and pools: The location is truly a highlight. The beach is dreamlike and the sea with its turquoise water is beautiful. We also liked the pool area very much and it offers great opportunities to enjoy the vacation. Food and drinks: The buffets were varied, appetizingly arranged, and visually very appealing. There was a lot of selection, so there was something for everyone. Only the theme nights were sometimes a bit misleading, as the actual selection did not always quite fit the announced theme. Room and staff: We were satisfied with our room overall. We remember the staff particularly positively: The employees were consistently very friendly and helpful, which contributed significantly to our positive overall impression. What bothered us: A clear point of criticism was the street noise. Due to the buses arriving and departing, it was sometimes quite loud both during the day and at night. Anyone who is sensitive to noise should take this into account when choosing a room. In addition, there were repeated cleanliness issues in the La Finca restaurant. On supposedly clean tables, there were occasionally hairs, and glasses as well as cutlery were also occasionally not properly clean. That should be better monitored in a hotel of this category. Conclusion: Overall, we had a nice vacation and would give a positive rating, primarily because of the dreamlike beach location, the great pool area, the varied food, and the friendly staff. However, there is still room for improvement regarding cleanliness in the restaurant and noise protection. With a little more attention in these areas, the stay would have been even more pleasant."

"We were at this hotel for the third, but for now last, time this year. While the facility is well-maintained, the food tastes good, and the service is fine, the conditions at the buffet have become unacceptable. First, there is the unbearable noise level in the dining hall, which could certainly be influenced by facility design. Then there is the carelessness (laziness?) of some parents who send their small children alone to forage for food during the buffet. Consequently, clumsy children are climbing everywhere, especially at the dessert buffet, digging through the food, coughing cheerfully onto the open dishes, and dropping dishes everywhere. Apparently, there are no regulations from the hotel regarding this, so no one bothers the children in any way. Last but not least, we noticed this year that many plates, bowls, and pieces of cutlery were put back with food residue from the dishwasher. In conversations with other vacationers, similar things and a generally apparent lack of hygiene were unfortunately criticized. During our nine-day vacation, we met five families where at least two people complained of severe vomiting, once even involving a short hospital stay. The clearly observed trend toward deterioration this year has therefore led us to the decision to visit a different hotel in beautiful Sa Coma next year."

"The Mediterrano Club is showing its age and needs a refresh and inspection of the installations. The service is minimal and not at all helpful. The included drinks are made with cheap syrups and the wines were UNDRINKABLE for us. The buffets are also kept very simple and cheap, although the selection is quite large. We were able to heat up the food ourselves with the microwave ovens. The large complex was clean and the beautiful sandy beach very close. We also had a nice, large balcony with evening sun."
