"First things first. I want to comment on how lovely the pool area/ reception is of this hotel. Clean, modern, welcoming and the pool area has big comfy beds which were always available. The roof top pool is also great, really nice touch again clean modern and amazing views. However …. The hotel as soon as you pass reception. Does NOT look like the pictures, our room 615. Smelt terrible. On night 2 of our stay we told reception about this awful sewage smell which was coming from the air con. They told us the hotel was full and we could not be moved, which was surprising as the pool was never full. We were told a technical team member would come up, we had a cleaner arrive who cleaned the bathroom, not what we asked for , we appreciated it how we this was not the problem was ?. We have read another review who had the same problem In this room a few weeks ago , the room looks rushed it’s missing storage, there’s cracks all around the door frame and needs some TLC. The room was cleaned daily but only sort of made the bed cleaned ? We didn’t get replenished of any tea or coffee etc, a plate was left in our room for 2 days. And the bed was only half made. Opposite is a social club which had loud music playing Saturday night late on which we could hear through the glass, which we tried to keep open for the smell of the air con been so bad …. The breakfast was lovely and the staff were all great and friendly, we checked the activity list and half the days the activities which were stated were not even on? Pool games , pool Pilates. Sax round the pool, we didn’t see any of this, Again I want to comment on how nice the pool area and reception are, aswell as the gym and the breakfast bar it’s all really clean and modern and felt very luscious but we were let down, the lifts are really small and old, the only way I can describe it is past reception the hotel really lets itself down the room did not feel welcoming it was dark and we hardly spent any time in here. Our clothes started to smell like the smell coming out of the air con… it’s really not what you want when your away, we didn’t look forward to coming back to the room at all during our stay and only slept and then stayed out all the time. The area is nice but very quiet only a few bars and restaurants in walking distance. Reccomend a car to go to Cala dor and other areas. Probably would not stay again due to our issues during our stay."

"Stayed for 5 nights in September. Payed for a deluxe room with a seaview, didnt get a seaview nor a deluxe room. The room was small and the aircon was hit and miss. The TV didn’t work and the rain showerhead was broken. The bed was comfy though! We spoke to reception about moving rooms but were told that they were fully booked so they couldn’t… quite disappointing but we just tried to spend very minimal time in the room. The location was convinient and very close to cala marcal beach, which was stunning. 17euros for 2 sunbeds, brolly and safe for the day. Handful of restaurants around and the bus to Cala D’or was only 15 minutes long. We went to the posta skybar one evening and didn’t return again, we went at 22:15 and the place closes at 00:00. We ordered 2 cocktails and before the drinks even arrived, a waitress came over with the bill and the card machine stating they were preparing to close, so we had to pay? The music was turned off at 22:30 and the staff were putting the chairs and cushions away at 22:30. The whole atmosphere was disappointing. The pool area was the only pure positive, comfy sunbeds, sunbed QR codes for ordering drinks and food and the pool was refreshing with stunning views."

"We had stayed for a week and I couldn’t recommend it more. The hotel is newly refurbish and it shows; everything was so clean and fresh. You were spoilt for choice at the hotel buffet which seemed to go on forever with fresh food. The star of the show for us was the nura beach club restaurant, the food was unreal. You definitely get your moneys worth at the hotel as they offer entertainment throughout the whole day, free paddle boarding, kayak tours, padel courts and more. The hotel is ideal for chill days and active days. The staff arranged games and entertainment while we waited out a thunder storm one of the days and i’ve never been to a hotel who have done that, they really went above and beyond. We had upgraded our room to a sea view room and the staff were very accommodating. The room was cleaned daily with fresh towels and bedding. The only thing I would say is there isn’t that much storage if you are staying long so if you are an over-packer i would recommend getting a suite. Also, get walking about to see what is around the hotel as quite a few places to eat are not on maps."
