"We visited the island of Mallorca for 5 days and stayed at the Leonardo Boutique Hotel in Port Portals, about 10 km from the city of Palma. At the reception, after completing the necessary procedures, the very polite employee asked us to pay the full amount for our stay in advance. I don't like this practice at all, which seems to be common in Spanish hotels. We did so, although since they have my credit card, I consider it a lack of trust in the customer. The Deluxe room we had booked was excellent, spacious, with a nice view. The hotel is in a very good location and generally well maintained. It has good facilities and also offers a very good breakfast. It also has free parking right in front of the entrance, which is very convenient. The distance to walk to Port Portals is about 10 minutes. The natural environment is beautiful, the restaurants are good, with good service and... outrageously expensive. And yet, they are full. However, if you don't want to eat pizza, you will pay a very high price for your meal. We had a small issue with the TV channels at the hotel. Only the Spanish channels were available. We mentioned this to the reception, and they told us that they would open the channels in other languages, but this only happened with the German-language channels. I wonder, since they have so many foreign customers, why they don't have free foreign-language channels. We didn't go to the island to swim. We went to explore it. And it is a wonderful island. With excellent roads, where you can get anywhere easily and quickly. With beautiful landscapes, sights, and good service. Apart from the well-known Valdemossa, we would also recommend the very impressive Alcudia and Port d'Alcudia, where we had an excellent meal at half the price of the restaurants in Port Portals. Overall, we had a great time. The hotel is excellent overall, and we would like to stay there again next time."

"Wonderful small super well looked after hotel in a perfect location to the port, literally a 5 minute walk and only 15 minutes from the airport. On departure we were from the hotel and through in to departures in 29 minutes! Lovely pool area with small bar offering all you could need and an excellent lunch menu with quick and efficient service. The buffet breakfast was also ideal, with a lovely selection, particularly continental with fresh omelettes to order, it was also lovely to be able to sit outside by the pool. Rooms were perfectly equipped and set out with all you need and the hotel itself was exceptionally clean. They also had a great work station area in reception which I found super useful! All staff from arrival to departure were helpful, friendly and welcoming. Particularly Jordi (Reception) and Joe (Night Porter). Thank you all, we are already booking our next visit! :)"
