Negresco Beach Hotel

"We'd been wanting to stay at this hotel for ages, we go to Playa de Palma every year. And broadly it didn't disappoint! It's a great location right on the beach front, and has a lovely pool area. The pool opens at 9am so there is no scrum for sunloungers, you can't reserve them for more than 30 mins. Breakfast was great, plenty of choice, the bar food at lunch was OK. The staff were brilliant, relly welcoming and friendly. A special mention to Noelia for our Sunday afternoon pool party! Absolutely fantastic!!! And a fabulous play list. Air con in the room could have been a bit stronger, that's my only real negative comment but we had such a great time and would definitely stay again!"

"Loved it! Nice size room and a really beautiful property. Never felt too big and always got chairs at the pool. Breakfast was nice and had plenty to eat. The pool was a bit cool but it’s nice given how hot it was. Literally directly across the street from the beach so you can walk across go for a swim and then come back to your chairs at the pool. The strip in Palma is great - lots of bars and restaurants close"

"We stayed here for four nights. The first thing that hits you is the friendliness of the staff, they are very welcoming and helpful from the start. The hotel is very, very clean and spacious and the white interior helps it look even bigger than it is. The rooms are a good size with a comfortable bed and all the facilities in the room that you would expect. You even get free use of a room safe which is unusual in Mallorca. The only downside was the air con, it needed to be stronger and struggled with the outside temperatures of 36 degrees. The hotel is well located on the beachfront, opposite a Supermarket, minutes from lots of bars and restaurants and 2 minutes walk from the bus stop for buses to Palma. The sunbeds are well controlled and if you leave them for more than 30 minutes they are removed by the Lifeguard. As well as this the pool area does not open until 0900 so there no mad rush to come down early and put out towels. There is also a plunge pool with loungers on the roof which has amazing views of the resort. There is also a bar on the roof which is run by Noella who is the funniest bar person I have come across in my years of travelling. She gets to know you really well and is an amazing host too. The rooftop closes at 2030 each night which is a shame and should stay open later into the evening"
