Caramelo Palma Beach

"This is a 3 star hotel with 5 star food. The food at this hotel is unreal, if you go with half board you get €30 a day to spend on food and drinks each. It’s a really good deal, the hotel is cheaper than the majority of restaurants in the area and I would say the quality of the food is better than number of places. You also get breakfast included, the breakfast is superb. The rooms and the finer details are a bit tired. The whole 6 days we have been here one of the women’s toilets on the ground floor has been out of use. The staff here are great, they couldn’t do more for you. When we arrived they allowed us to check in early for €20 which was a deal and helped us after a very early morning flight. You can get beach towels at the hotel, they are €10 and you get that back if you return the towel with the receipt given to you. If you want these swapped out it’s €2 per towel. The hotel its self is very relaxing through the day, there is music on around the pool but it isn’t a crazy hotel. It is around a 5 minute walk to the beach and the restaurants. However, be mindful that during the night a lot of your fellow holidaymakers are obnoxious and loud. They clearly have no respect for those around them, we were woke up twice by other holiday makers opening the emergency exit and setting the alarm off on our floor. This is through no fault of the hotel at all but this is just a warning to anyone wanting a relaxing break, this hotel may not be the one for you. It’s also worth mentioning that the hotel is around 5 minutes from Palma airport. Overall we’ve had a lovely stay and would recommend the hotel."
