"We've been going as a family now for about 15 years. We absolutely love it, the location is absolutely perfect up on the hill overlooking Palmanova and the sea. The staff are fantastic and always offer a genuinely warm welcome, some of them have become like family to us. There's just something genuinely magical about the place. And they never stand still, always looking to improve upon something in the closed season. We always go back to something new and even better than the last time. Can't wait to go back again."

"We had a fabulous holiday in the Ponent Mar aparthotel. We’ve travelled extensively and this is probably the best self catering accommodation we’ve ever had in Europe. The location is perfect: at one end of the resort with plenty of restaurants and shops a few minutes walk away. There’s also a reasonably priced mini-market in the complex. The deluxe apartment (714) was superb: airy, spacious, well-equipped kitchenette, plenty of storage space and housekeeping visited daily. The huge balcony had a stunning view over the beaches and small marina. We were also delighted by the variety of furniture on it: a table to dine at with 2 chairs; a sofa with 2 armchairs and low coffee table, 2 comfy sun loungers, a parasol and separate electrically controlled awning. The welcome pack (‘posh’ crisps, a bottle of wine, olives and Tuc crackers) was a wonderful surprise, as was the fridge being stocked with soft drinks and water. There were always plenty of loungers available, not only at the pool area but also dotted around the spotlessly clean complex. Unusually for us, we ate in the on-site Amura restaurant a couple of times, which is unusual for us. It overlooks the beach, has a well-curated menu and the food was delicious. The service in the El Cielo rooftop bar and terrace was friendly and efficient and we enjoyed the live music at night there. The staff in all areas of the Ponent Mar were all friendly, professional and efficient. We’ll definitely be returning next year."
