Globales Santa Lucia Hotel

"This hotel is in a fabulous location, each room has a sea view. Lovely clean and bright public spaces. We were on the 6th floor so heard very little noise if any from people who may be enjoying the fabulous public walkway running between the hotel and the sea. Our room was very spacious and cleaned daily. Plenty of wardrobe & shelf space and equally, in the bathroom a good size vanity put your toiletries on. would benefit from a hook/hooks on the bathroom door for your bathrobe/s. It was alongside many shops and bars so you could experience as much night life as needed and has the very added bonus of having a wonderful beach next too it. Went all inclusive and thought it great value for money and the food was the best we've experienced in our 6th year of a TUI holiday in Majorca. We were a group of mature ladies and most of the clientele were too, so probably not for the younger generation"

"Only a couple of weeks ago I came back from yet another lovely holiday at the Santa Lucia, stayed 5/9/26 - 19/9/26 in room709. I’ve been there 17 times now, since 2012 (so it must be good, take it from me). The view from every room in the hotel is amazing, what a way to wake up each morning. It was the first time I’d been up that high and I really liked it. Tip - if you do not want the maids to come in too early, stick your “come back later” card on your door the night before. I did this every night before I went to bed and then took it off as I went out for the day. The maid will always come back when you are not there. The room for me as a solo traveller was a good size and would be even if there are 2 people in the room so I cannot understand people’s comments about the rooms being too small as you only really sleep in the room. Yes the bathrooms are quite dated now, walk in showers would be lovely but I understand that’s a huge job to undertake and probably not something the hotel itself can decide but Globales to decide to do that across all of their hotels. I found the food the best it has ever been since I’ve been going there. I went All Inclusive this time so had lunch too, I always managed to find something to eat - the chicken stroganoff one lunch each week is very recommended and was my favourite. The breakfasts were superb, everything you could possibly want. Small tip I would say to people going is always get your fried eggs/omelettes first then get the rest of your food as there is usually a queue for the eggs - I saw so many people go to the buffet first then go and stand in the queue for the eggs so the other food on their plate got cold. Was sad to see Inma leave, she was an asset to the hotel, always polite, smiley and always wanted to do her best when serving the fried eggs and omelettes. I adored her I spent a few days by the pool, lovely pool which is very easy to get into and not too cold. There is also an indoor pool with a jacuzzi and sauna too. I do agree that something needs to be done about the queuing in the morning from 6am to get out to the sunbeds at 8am, it’s a sight to see but I put the blame fully on the selfish people that do it. The couple of days I went down there it was about 7.30, refusing to get down there any earlier then I gave up after a few days and then went on the gorgeous beach that is next to the hotel for several days. I had a cold the first week I was there so sometimes it was just nice sitting on the sofas in the reception and doing a few sudoku puzzles, very relaxing. The staff are all lovely, wherever they are based in the hotel, they are very professional at all times but also friendly but I must give a very special mention to Miguel in the restaurant who has been there forever and has always made me feel so welcome, always greeting me by my name when i enter and exit the restaurant, made me feel very happy. He is a very special man and I am sad that he is retiring, he will he greatly missed. I am returning 3 times next year, one of the times is for my 50th birthday in July. I wouldn’t keep returning if the hotel was as bad as some of the reviews have said. Is it perfect - not for everyone but for me it is perfect. I can’t wait to be back in May."

"The location of this hotel is fantastic Stayed for a week in Sept, the hotel was very clean and the staff very friendly. The food was the same old every night so not to bad if you like beef stew, it was also lukewarm warm, luckily we like eating out so enjoyed 3 lovely meals out (Olive tree was lovely food) I have never stayed in a hotel where 90% of guests were heating up their food in the microwaves provided. You get a welcome bottle of water and that’s it there are no water filling stations in the hotel. We could see the whole pool and sun deck from our room and laughed every morning with the people putting out their towels on the sun loungers never to be used. We upgraded to superior so had the use of the rooftop pool which was nice, the only drawback was there are no toilets so you had to go back to your room if you needed the loo. We had early checkout and was surprised that we couldn’t go in the restaurant for coffee and toast,as didn’t open till 7am every other hotel we have stayed at allowed early checkouts access to the restaurant for coffee and pastries We have used Globales chain before in Menorca and really enjoyed it. This will be the 1 and only time of staying at the Santa Lucia. Top tip if you enjoy a coffee in the morning on the balcony hide the coffee pods milk and sugar before housekeeping arrive as you just about get enough for 2 cups."
