Valentin Somni Hotel & Suites

"Have just returned yesterday with my daughter, we had an absolutely amazing week at the valentin somni suites hotel. We were warmly welcomed by the staff on duty and a lovely welcome drink which was nice to take to our room. We stayed in room 319 which had a shower over the bath , not much privacy but we made use of the huge outdoor varanda when one of us used the shower. Rooms and hotel absolutely spotless as is the pool area. We had no problem getting a sunbed, upstairs or at the main pool. We went away to the market on the Tuesday and we didn't get back till near 1pm and managed to find sunbeds no problem. Thank you to the lifeguards on duty for helping to move our umbrella on several occasions. The girls on entertainment are great at getting everyone involved during the pool activities and nighttime entertainment. Breakfast is in a buffet form and something for everyone, we loved breakfast time. We were very fortunate to be part of the white party and they certainly know how to party , we had such an amazing afternoon, thank you for the effort you've all put in for your guests, its such a nice feeling. Thank you to the bar man inside for the ice every morning for our water bottles and for making our iced coffees every morning and our afternoon strawberry daquri's. We were so sorry to leave yesterday but will definitely return. Thank you for making us feel welcome."

"⭐ Valentin Somni Suites, Peguera, Majorca – Our Stay We had a lovely holiday at Valentin Somni Suites overall, but there were definitely a few things worth knowing before booking. The pros: The hotel was exceptionally clean and tidy throughout, and the staff were absolutely lovely — we genuinely couldn't fault a single member of staff. The air conditioning in the bedrooms was fantastic, which was especially appreciated in the Majorcan heat. The food was generally good, with the themed evening meals being a particular highlight. The snack bar also served some nice food. The evening entertainment was enjoyable, although it finished fairly early at around 11pm. The location is great, with a lovely beach just a 5-minute walk away. The towel service was also handy and only €1 per towel. We also did a dolphin boat trip during our stay, which was definitely worth the money and one of the highlights of the holiday. The cons: The transfer from the airport was advertised as around 30 minutes, but ours took over an hour, so this is something to be aware of. The pool area was probably our biggest disappointment. There was no music around the pool, so the atmosphere was mainly just people chatting. The hotel had quite a mixed age range, which is worth considering depending on the type of atmosphere you're looking for. The accommodation was smaller then I realised with the toilet and shower being within the same room but as a couple this suited us fine The main pool isn't particularly big and became very busy. Although reserving sunbeds wasn't supposed to be allowed, people were still putting towels down early to secure them. The pool also doesn't open until 10am, which we found quite late. Our ground-floor room was another downside. The balcony opened directly onto the eating area, which meant we didn't really feel comfortable sitting outside and relaxing as people were constantly walking past and eating nearby. We also had an issue with the shower, which kept running hot and cold. Overall: We enjoyed our holiday and there are definitely lots of positives to this hotel, particularly the friendly staff, cleanliness, food and location. However, there are a few things that stopped it from being perfect for us, especially the busy pool area, sunbed situation and our ground-floor balcony. I'd recommend it for a clean, friendly hotel in a great location, but I'd definitely consider requesting a room away from the eating area and checking what type of room you're allocated before your stay."

"We had the most amazing 10 days here - The staff are lovely (everyone from the bar staff, cleaners, receptionist, entertainers, chefs). The hotel was lovely and clean & we were lucky enough to get a free upgrade to their suites - very much appreciated. We are both vegetarians & there was plenty of choice & everything was labelled. Lots of sunbeds & a non salt water pool. We can’t wait for visit again (hopefully for another white party!)"
