Valentin Somni Hotel & Suites

"We had a lovely stay at this great hotel (19-26 October) which we booked through Jet2. In advance of making our booking we had a couple of questions regarding room configuration which were promptly responded to by the hotel team. On arrival at the hotel, we were warmly welcomed by Ricardo and presented with a glass of sparkling wine which was a nice touch. Our allocated room was a silver which was in the separate block overlooking the pool area which had a pleasant view, the room was spacious and fully met our needs for our stay. The room had all the amenities we needed with adequate storage for our clothes. The safe had a charge of 15 euros for a week plus a 10e refundable deposit for the key, whilst some have commented on this charge, for us we see this as essential and the cost to be reasonable. The hotel location is good, only a short 5 minutes to the beach or for buses to Palma/Santa Ponsa, a useful tip for the return journey would be to get off at the Talaia bus stop which is a 5-minute downhill walk to the hotel and can be used also for buses to Port d’Andrartx. The buffet restaurant was really good and had excellent choice at both breakfast and dinner, food was of good quality and tables were promptly cleared by the attentive waiting staff who were always busy. We had lunch from the bar twice during our stay which was nice, the pool bar was only open on our arrival day. The weather during our stay was great and this enabled us to sit out on the terrace and watch the evening entertainment, generally we enjoyed the acts and especially enjoyed the male singer on the Sunday, the entertainment staff were very pleasant and worked hard to please the hotel guests, bar service was really good and thanks to Sebastian in particular. Overall, a great stay at a really lovely hotel."

"We had an excellent stay at this hotel. The room was clean and comfortable. Mealtimes were a delight. There were interesting activities throughout the day and the pools were there to be enjoyed. It is well situated in walking distance of the main street and, although it is on a hill, I managed to cope with the return journey to the hotel each time."

"We had the best holiday here in October in Peguera Majorca. We were met by smiling happy staff with a glass of procceco on arrival. The hotel was spotless , food excellent compliments to all the chefs and kichen staff . The evening entertainment was good with vocalists, only a few hours each night which was perfect for us. We even got blankets one night as it was a bit chilly. The pool areas and pools were gorgeous with beautiful sun beds. Bar staff very attentive nothing was too much trouble. We have never normally go back to a place but we will definitely go back here next year ."
