"Bring a water bottle for staying hydrated throughout the day. Note that there is no evening entertainment scheduled. Consider hiring a car for convenient travel; walking to a local shop is discouraged due to distance. Walking to a bus stop is an option, but planning ahead is advised. Use the hotel shuttle at 10am to leave the premises; you will be collected again at 5pm, with no shuttle service available in between."

"We stayed here for one week and have mixed feelings about our stay. The room was spotlessly clean and we had daily towel changes and beds made up each day. The air con in the master bedroom was ineffective but it was much better in the other bedroom and living room. Both bedrooms had an ensuite but the second bedroom was furnished with a double sofa bed, presumably as the room is too small to accommodate a proper bed. For a 5 star hotel, we found this inadequate and unacceptable. Our teenage daughter and son had to share a sofa bed for 7 nights. This was far from ideal and the quality of sleep was not good. I cannot imagine any other comparable hotels providing a sofa bed instead of a proper bed!! This alone would stop us from returning. After paying alot of money to stay here, the least we expected were proper beds for a good night's sleep! On a positive note, the staff are all very pleasant and helpful. The food at the restaurant was enjoyable and there was a good selection to choose from for both breakfast and evening meal. The hotel and the grounds are beautiful and the views are amazing. It is very remote and as such the things we usually enjoy on holiday, such as an after-dinner stroll, window shopping etc were not possible and we felt confined to the hotel grounds as there is literally nothing beyond the hotel boundary, unless you travel to Peguera. We had an enjoyable holiday but we would not return to this hotel mainly due to the lack of a proper bed in the second bedroom."
