"Great location, very close to the beach and right on a high street with commutes to Palma in 30 minutes. The Atmosphere was amazing, such wonderful staff and a beautiful building. The Rooms were amazing, with great balconies, very comfortable beds and good water pressure + plenty of storage. Great value for money! Very clean with cleaning staff always on hand and keeping it clean. Not loud at all, peaceful and calm environment. Amazing amenities with a great pool and bar. I would highly recommend staying at Bahia"

"Great location just over the road from the beach and close to bars, restaurants and shops. I stayed here for a few days during a heatwave so was very pleased with my room - just round the corner from pool and garden area on the ground floor. It was quite dark but this and the air conditioning was just what I needed to recover from the outside temperatures. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly especially Maike at reception. No problem getting a sunbed as there were always spare ones in the corner although the prized ones were in the shade due to the heat! The pool area didn’t open until 10 so there was no rush to get a sunbed. Great choice of food at breakfast and food at the pool bar was amazing and very reasonable priced. Hotel Bahia is a smaller family run hotel full of Mallorcan charm so may not suit everyone. The resort is very cosmopolitan and predominantly German. Probably not for people wanting loud and raucous entertainment by the pool etc and British bars but for me, it was perfect. I will definitely be back but not in the heat of August !"

"I was really hoping that some of the bad reviews of this hotel weren't true when we booked to go here but I was wrong. Firstly this hotel is mainly German guests and maybe 10% English guests, the German guests were treated so much better, had their luggage carried to their rooms on arrival, were given nice tables to sit at, were allowed to reserve sunbeds. We arrived and for 3 days we couldn't get a sunbed around the pool because they were all reserved by German guests from 7 in the morning, my husband on the 4th day went at 6.30 am to reserve a sunbed which was ridiculous but it was our only choice, however the nasty rude lady from reception came to the pool area and shouted in front of other guests that we weren't to do that, we complained that we couldn't get a sunbed otherwise and she said she would speak to other guests which she never did and sunbeds had towels on and not being used for hours at a time, we said we wanted to go for lunch and she said we could go for 10 minutes and if we weren't back our towels would be taken and we would be charged 10 euros to get our own towels back, she was rude, unpleasant, very unprofessional and when I said this she shouted as I walked away that she's been called rude lots of times it is what it is! She created an atmosphere every time we had to walk through reception and this ruined our holiday her name was Maik or something like that. Our room was disgusting, it was antiquated, old, dirty, had mould in the bathroom and needed a good scrub, the shower screen hadnt been cleaned for our arrival, it was in desperate need for a renovation. The room was small, dark, dirty, had two single beds instead of the double we had booked, the beds were old and more like camp beds, the wardrobe was old, filthy, inside and out with a big hole through the wardrobe door, the air conditioning was antiquated and intermittent with its working, the patio I'd you can call it that was dark, open, had rubble and was messy with broken bamboo screen to each side, no sun all day on it, a tiny hard bistro table and 2 tiny hard chairs which were too uncomfortable to sit on, the patio door wouldn't shut or lock so it had a makeshift screwed on bolt. The rest of the hotel was, old, dusty, unclean, we like character and old hotels but this was definitely a 2 star and not 4 star as advertised. The spa area and indoor pool was closed and out of order so we could only look at it through the window and it didn't look clean or hygienic. The breakfast was pleasant, nice choice however cooked breakfast was always cold. Our holiday was ruined and we were counting down the days to leave so I would think carefully before booking this place, we will never return"
