"A Beautiful Hotel, Sadly Let Down by the Staff The hotel itself was absolutely amazing. The room was beautiful, comfortable, and well maintained, the facilities were excellent, the breakfast was delicious with a fantastic selection, and the location was perfect. In terms of the accommodation and amenities, the hotel had everything you could ask for and could have made our stay truly exceptional. Unfortunately, what seriously let the hotel down was the attitude of some members of staff, particularly towards disabled guests. The lack of understanding, compassion, and basic courtesy was extremely disappointing and left a very negative impression on what should have been a wonderful stay. I hired a car during our stay and parked in the disabled parking bay directly in front of the hotel. The bay was clearly signposted and marked on the ground as a disabled parking space. Despite explaining the situation to staff on numerous occasions and showing them my valid disabled parking badge, I was still made to feel as though I was doing something wrong. What made the situation even more upsetting was that, on the final evening of our stay, I returned to find a note left on the car stating that I could not park in the disabled bay. This was despite the bay being clearly marked for disabled parking and my having repeatedly explained and demonstrated my entitlement to use it. To experience this after having already taken the time to explain the situation several times was both frustrating and upsetting, particularly when accessibility and understanding should be treated with respect and sensitivity. It is incredibly disappointing that a hotel with such beautiful rooms, excellent facilities, lovely breakfast options, and such a fantastic location could be let down so badly by the behaviour and attitude of its staff. Disabled guests should never have to repeatedly justify themselves, explain their circumstances over and over again, or feel unwelcome when using facilities clearly designated for them. Good hospitality is about far more than comfortable rooms and good food. It is about making every guest feel welcome, respected, and valued. Unfortunately, the way this situation was handled overshadowed many of the positives of our stay. I sincerely hope management takes this feedback seriously, reviews how disabled guests are treated, and ensures staff receive appropriate guidance on accessibility, disability awareness, and customer service. The hotel has so much potential, but kindness, respect, and inclusivity should be just as important as the facilities it offers. A fantastic hotel in terms of rooms, facilities, breakfast, and location, but a very disappointing experience when it came to staff attitude and the treatment of disabled guests"

"My stay was going very well, until my belongings were stolen inside the room after cleaning. I tried to make a complaint immediately and to my surprise I was informed that there was no responsible person (manager) at the hotel, and I had to wait until the next day to speak with someone in charge of the hotel. The next day I requested the manager again and spoke with Maria, who didn't resolve anything at all; I received no support from the hotel, only being told that I should contact the police and file a report, absolving the hotel of any responsibility. I didn't believe the lack of competence and total unpreparedness of the person in charge at the hotel. In any decent hotel, at least they would have provided support, even if it was just to accompany me to the police. In other words, this hotel has terrible management. Furthermore, I later found out from the hotel staff that this is common at this hotel. Unbelievable."
