"I recently stayed at Bahia Principe in Magaluf while playing a chess tournament in Palmanova, and it was a perfect base. Location is unbeatable - literally 1 minute from the beach. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable, food was varied and tasty with good quality for the price. Overall excellent price/quality ratio. Staff was friendly, everything worked well. Only minor issue was the WiFi signal was a bit weak in the room, but nothing serious. Funny moment: I left some biscuits on the balcony one evening and in the morning I found 2 giant seagulls having breakfast from them! Mallorca is wonderful and if you are in the Calvia area I definitely recommend this hotel."

"I’m a fussy traveller , and I stayed here for a solo get away for 2 nights, after reading reviews I was skeptical, but was so cheap I went for it and I was pleasantly surprised, I was met by friendly receptionist, in a clean reception area, who was warm welcoming and polite went above and beyond to help, All the staff I interacted with where polite friendly and helpful, The hotel was clean throughout, my room had a sea view and was lovely, clean and the bed in my opinion was fine, I slept well was not hard, there was extra pillows and a duvet in wardrobe, the power shower overflowed but a towel down sorted that, and it was a brilliant shower, The lift to the beach was on and off during my stay I did use it once but stairs next to it are easy enough to find access and use if able too, The location is beautiful, the hill I didn’t think was that bad, I’m a very active power lifter and flew up and down it no problem, there are also taxi regular going up and down, The buffet was simple, not my thing I prefer eating out of the hotels I did try one evening meal and one breakfast, both basic nothing amazing but not terrible like, flies on food I did notice by the dessert, morning buffet your drinks included evenings it’s not but you can take your own, Pool was beautiful and clean, My only gripe was breakfast should be earlier, and there’s no kettle for tea in the room , but for £200 flights hotel transfer food for 3 days I thought it was a bargain, I really enjoyed my stay and I’d definitely go back again,"
