Just a 30-minute taxi ride from the Majorcan capital, Palma, even the journey to Es Capdellà is a feast for the eyes. The most popular hikes include one that leads to the Torre de Capdellà, a 16th Century coastal defense tower, and, if you’re feeling particularly brave, a challenging route up Puig de Galatzó. One of the most iconic mountains in Majorca, finishing the trek will result in sweeping views that stretch from the coast to the mountains, 1026 metres above sea level.
