"We recently spent a night here. The setting and grounds are beautiful and so are the views from the property. Our room was very nice with our own private outdoor seating area over looking the water away from our hotel room. The service from the staff was outstanding. We had dinner in the restaurant and my wife said it was one of her favourite meals of all time. Highly recommended."

"Thanks to the wonders of technology finding an excellent place to stay is usually quite straight forward these days. Finding somewhere extraordinary is more challenging. The criteria for giving a property such an accolade will of course vary between individuals. So I hope readers of this review will indulge me! For us, Can Simoneta’s excellence is primarily justified because of its stunning location by the sea and its tranquillity. In our view room selection is critical because it’s the kind of place where most people will be happy just to watch the world go by. We went for a sea facing room in the boat house located around 100 metres from the main building - a pleasant walk though maybe a bit far if u have mobility problems (a buggy is available). Going to sleep and waking up listening to the sound of the sea will be a memory we will treasure for a long time. In our view it’s staff that can make a hotel stand out. Here everyone from the manager to the bellboy was charming and spoke excellent English. We also found the guests (it’s adults only) very affable. Food and wine are excellent in all areas. We especially enjoyed the excellent Majorcan wines well chosen by a knowledgeable sommelier. A glass or 2 of cava gets the evening off to a great start. To burn off the calories there are 2 decent sized infinity pools both with stunning views. If you fancy stretching ur legs there are interesting caves and the Canyamel tower within walking distance (1-2 km). but care needed as some sections of the road don’t have pavements. If u don’t have a car Taxi Cab Mallorca provided us with excellent service (see my separate review). All in all a delightful oasis of tranquillity - we hope to return soon!"
