"This is a great 3* hotel that offers a fantastic location for a beach break, from the entrance to Sun beds at the edge of the sea is just 150m away. It’s not got the shiny chrome and gloss of a modern hotel but has an older more traditional feel and still manages a charm all of its own. The staff are well suited to this type of place with a more personal and friendly approach to the guests which we appreciated. The food was for the whole very good and well cooked, but you won’t be bamboozled with lots of different choices, and the restaurant staff were polite, friendly and made an effort to help you with an alternative to the set menu if nothing suited. We managed a viewing of the total solar eclipse and this was the one night in our 14 day stay we missed the evening meal in the hotel due to the timing of the eclipse, and should tell a story itself given the other nice restaurants in the area . The rooms were well used to put it politely, but clean and had a fridge, tv and given the summer of heatwave, an essential AC unit, and with very fine, “fine” tuning, set the room temp to a lovely cool zone for returning from nearby beach or Ca’n Picafort itself and also allowed for a good nights sleep. If anything to be picked out for us it was the fridge could have been a bit bigger to keep the larger sized bottles of water chilled as well. A kettle as standard would have been a good option as well, (I believe you could request one from front desk but we did not bother so could not verify this) The solarium was well named as It was a proper sun trap, never busy and the sun beds felt firm after the cushioned ones that you can hire on beach, but in reality werr absolutely fine! Indoor pool with Jacuzzi was great for a cooling dip and almost always empty The sea facing rooms and balcony were a blessing as i enjoyed the quiet, cool time before sunrise for a reset before the day started and also in the evenings. To summarise Stil Bonsai is an inexpensive, clean, traditional hotel, with friendly staff that offers a more personal experience. In a great location for a beach lovers holiday, with shops for all the essentials close. Is is dated?, Yes!, Would we stay again? Absolutely and were already planning a return at some point! "Lovely little hotel with friendly staff who look after you. Excellent food and plenty of it. Large rooms with comfortable beds and a fridge and air conditioning in each room. My wife is a vegetarian and the chefs made her some great dishes. Great value for money accross the road away from the beach with a lovely indoor pool. Supermarkets and shops also accross the road."

"Location is okay however from Gatwick to Majorca airport it was shorter than driving from Majorca airport to the hotel. Atmosphere was okay. Rooms were fine they are cleaned every day towels and bedsheets are changed every day. Staff are very very polite. However we are stuck with these two rooms whereby the occupants in those rooms were smokers so we couldn’t enjoy the balcony because whenever they smoked everything was just coming into our room I would say it would be good at least to separate smokers and non-smokers."
