"We stayed in this hotel for a week and we loved it. The room and bathroom were spacious and everything was very clean. Good wardrobe space and the balcony is nice to enjoy watching the world go by and either enjoy the sun or shade, depending on time of day. We asked for a kettle and one arrived promptly. The area is nice and quiet compared to the actual “centre” of C’an Picafort but if you want lots of bars, restaurants and people, it’s only a 15 minute walk. A lovely walk actually. There are shops just a few steps from the hotel, the beach is also only across the road. The beach is lovely so you really don’t need to go far for anything. The hotel has a sun terrace with loungers on the first floor and it’s a great sun trap. Plenty of beds and parasols available when we were here. Breakfast was always good and if you want your eggs done a certain way, you can ask for it. We also enjoyed the dinners, there were always 4 or 5 different main dishes and then your soup, chips, salad etc. Plenty of dessert options too. The restaurant staff do their best to help in any way they can and are very attentive. The chefs are usually out to check if all is ok as well or to come out with a fresh batch of food and the hotel seems to cater for a lot of dietary requirements. Also, it’s spotless, always. We used the pool once and were the only ones there. Cool water and there are shower areas and toilets, towels etc. I agree that the ceiling may need replacing but the area itself is functional and a nice way to get out of the heat. I enjoyed the fact that the hotel was small scale, it felt very relaxed and all the staff were really friendly and work very hard. I think this place is great value for money and sits in a location that offers relative calm but with everything you need within reach. We loved it and thought it was a great find."

"Definitely not a luxury hotel, but if you want great customer service, clean rooms and good food this place is perfect. It’s a little dated but that’s half of the charm. The rooms are large and clean with great aircon only thing that is missing is a coffee/ tea making facility in the room . All the staff make this place great . So friendly we had to check out at half 1 in the morning and they made sure there was coffee for us .. great location just by the beach . Never used the indoor pool but never looked busy . They seem to have guests that come back year after year which tells you something. Great value for money"

"We had a lovely time staying here. The staff and in particular the resturant staff are absolutely lovely and good with children. The rooms are decent sized and spotless, really good air conditioning. The food is lovely. They don't seem to do a veggie main by default but they will cook you something especially if you ask. My son loved the indoor pool. It was nearly always empty. The Solariam is a lovely area to chill and never seems busy. The best thing has to be the close distance to the beach!"
