BQ Aguamarina Boutique Hotel

"Me and my husband just had a relaxing few days at this great little hotel. We booked a superior room direct with the hotel and were not disappointed. I would highly recommend booking this type of room if you can as it has a massive balcony and whirlpool bath outdoors looking directly over the bay. The staff were extremely attentive and helpful. We received free drinks vouchers for booking direct and we were able to keep our room on checkout day for a small extra charge until 4pm. The hotel breakfast is of a very high standard with lots of choice. We would book this hotel again."

"We stayed at the BQ Aguarmarina Hotel for a week arriving 28 May. We had a front seaview room which was very comfortabe with aircon, coffee pod machine (pods relenished daily), kettle and fridge with 2 bottles water daily. Bed and pillows good as were the dual overhead and hand-held showers. Nice big sink with plenty of room for toiletries above. There was also plenty of hanging space and shelving for clothes. On the balcony was a rail for hanging items to dry. The hotel is totally spotless and the best part are the staff: Zahira, Alex, Marta, Rodrigo & his lovely trainee, Aina and Bernardo just a few exceptionally friendly and helpful people we met. The facilities at the hotel were great and there was no extra to pay to use them, you just had to wait for the rooftop cabanas to become free if all occupied. We were on half board and the food was delicious. We found the portions were too much for us as in our mid seventies we have smaller appetites but no problem we often shared a starter and sometimes even the main! While we were there we celebrated our 48th wedding anniversary and were offered pink cava as a toast and our shared pudding plate was decorated with slices of heart shaped strawberries. Very special. We took a boat trip round the bay with Captain Boleor.com which was great fun. Next to thehotel is a well stocked handy Spar supermarket. The only drawback for us was the included coach transfer with Easyjet dropped us off in town from the airport - not good if you haven't stayed at the hotel before and on the return the coach was siged eurowings not Easyjet so we almost missed it. We loved our visit so much we may well return."

"Superb location, directly opposite a wonderful beach. A welcome reception at 11pm after a late flight was much appreciated. Our room, on the top floor directly overlooking the beach (Room 407) was just fantastic! The balcony, with jacuzzi tub! with ample space and furniture, made for a lovely stay. Breakfast was good. An impressive selection of cold meats, cheeses, fruits, pastries, plus good hot food options too. A good way to get set up for the day!"
