Inturotel Cala Azul

"Just returned from our 3rd stay at Cala Azul and will be returning next yr. It really does feel like a home from home. The hotel is very clean and all staff work hard. The only thing this yr we found strange is that any type of ball to play in the pool with is not allowed, I understand the no lilo rule but even a small ball is not aloud. The staff at the pool bar/restaurant can also be very rude not all of them but some. We ate across the rd at Esmerelda as we found the staff much nicer there. Apart from that our holiday was lovely. We stayed self catering as there is so many great restaurants to eat in the area."

"Decided to treat my family to a week at this hotel as we have been several other times Hotel great room sea view fantastic BUT off us are Coeliac the hotel were informed 2 weeks before arrival but on arrival they denied any knowledge but we had a copy of email acknowledging our warning. On 7May Basically if I wanted rice with every meal and an accompliment of meat or fish but forget anything else On our last night I chose something with no wheat sign on only to find it had pasta with gluten if it wasn’t for Roul I could have made myself ill the potatoes had wheat sign but didn’t need it SO I CAN SAY THAT THIS HOTEL HAS NO UNDERSTANDING OF GLUTEN FREE AND NEED TRAINING BEFORE THEY MAKE SOMONE ILL This report is going on the Coeliac Uk sight"
