Hotel Palia Puerto del Sol

"first of all i will start with the positives location is fabulous, overlooking the marina is beautiful. The bar staff in the chill out bar were lovely, very friendly. Great atmosphere throughout.. The restaurant staff all polite and friendly. The anitmation team were great, for adults as well as the kids always asking you to get involved, good interaction with the adults especialy the lads they were great.. Now unfortunately thats where the positives end for our holiday, we are recently back from spending 7 nights here, 10th to the 17th October 2026 Upon on arrival checked in was a late night flight so just before midnight when we arrived, the nightmare unvailed itsself within minutes, poor lighting throughout the complex, and reception staff not helpful at all, infact id go as far to say as god damm rude at times and very ignorant. no clear instructions given when explaining where out apartment was, where to start room was large yes, very spacious, a bit clinical looking, but the biggest issue was health hazzards throughout, damp and musty smell, damp beds, plaster hanging off the walls, mouldy plug sockets, lower half of the sockets hanging off the walls. needles to say they were not working, tv didnt work, a kettle that didnt swutch off, unable to unpack suitcases due to the pungent smell of mould and damp in the wardrobe, mould on the back of the curtains, the aircon made the smell worse, the list goes on. when reported it to reception basicaly kept getting told to come back at different times, 3 days we had to wait to get moved to another room after sleeping on damp sofas as the beds were to wet to sleep in. no luggage unpacked. Finaly got moved to another apartment which was no better but had to walk up 3 flights of stairs to get to it. Ridiculous as when booked it orgionaly requested lower level floor. There are so many health and safety hazzards tgroughoyt this hotel and the complex its ridiculous, Poor management id say, the reception told us humidity is bad in the area and that it was normal for the room to be in such a bad state. That was far from normal. I absoloutly would not reccomend this place, and jet 2 defdinately need to look into this star rating as it is far from a 3 star hotel.. There are so many things wrong with it."

"It is the first time we did all-inclusive. Very very good 👍 the staff is very good, they are attentive to you, very beautiful room, breakfast all-you-can-eat, lunch too and dinner, beer all-you-can-eat and appetizers too."

"Great stay at Palia Puerto del sol. Love this hotel. Been 3 times now and just booked again for April next year. Can’t wait! Everything is on the doorstep. Close to Marina and a a short walk into Cala d or town centre. Can’t fault it. xxxxxx😎😎"
