Hotel D'or

"Location great and near the main restaurant quarter. We had a superior Room ok nothing special balcony was nice big enough for 2 sun loungers and a table with 2 chairs. I would imagine during the summer it might be very hot with no shade. We had breakfast most days not very impressed Kellogg's corn flakes eggs were not runny no proper sausages nice scrambled eggs nice beans and bacon very over done. Usual toast machine did the job eventually. Good selection of cold meats and cakes. No rolls only cut up baguette. On the plus side pool not busy always can get a sun lounger"

"just got back from a 7 night stay at Hotel d'or. It was brilliant. me and my wife serched for a small cosy family hotel for our much needed break , and this place delivered in everyway. Its a great location to explore the town and bus stops are just outside which we used to go to the famous Santina market.The hotel is very clean and tidy , lovely kept rooms on a daily basis.The buffet breakfast is just brilliant , loads of choice it defiently derserves a five star for that.The pool is super clean and crystal clear with plenty of sunbeds for all. The happy hour is great at the bar, and Carlos does a great job looking after everyone. Alba the deputy manager is great always on hand to advise on the local area , bus routes etc , again she is brilliant. A big thank you needs to go out to the cleaning staff , our rooms where looked after so good , fresh towels , linen etc was carried out every day , so a huge thank you to them.To sum our stay at Hotel D'OR was just excellent , if you are looking for a great value , great location , superb service , cosy family run , very chilled atmosphere then this is the place to go. Me and my wife won't hesitate to book again , this time direct , so Alba we will be returning. Thank you Alba and your team for making our stay in Cala d or so perfect. Julian, Tanya"

"We checked in for one night. The location is quite central and you can do everything on foot from here. Lockable private parking for 6 € a day is also very good. The room located on the upper floor was sufficient for the night. However, you can hear the nearby pedestrian zone until late at night, so unfortunately windows closed and air conditioning on. Also, the quite large trash can, approx. 50cm away from the bed, is quite inappropriate. Three containers for proper waste separation, while offering a lot in disposable packaging yourself, is a bit out of place. Free use of the safe, on the other hand, is great again. We did not use the pool and breakfast."
