"This hotel lives up to its 4-Star review. The hotel and rooms are well decorated and the facilities are well thought out and maintained. The rooms may not be to everyone’s taste as the shower and toilet are in the main room as separate cubicles and only have a partially screened glass door for privacy, which may not work for everyone. In terms of the rooms, they’re well designed and decorated in a boho style, with modern fixtures. The rooms, along with the hotel in general, were very clean and comfortable. The gardens and grounds are well maintained throughout as are both pool areas. Breakfast has a nice selection of cold and hot food, but could do with more cereal varieties. The only real negatives were that due to the landscaped gardens around the rooms, they attract quite a few ants. Our room had quite a few on the first morning. This was reported to reception and to be fair they tried to fill the gaps the ants were coming in from by sending the maintenance team out very quickly to caulk along the skirting board. Unfortunately the ants just moved to a gap under the skirting board further along. The cleaner then sprayed an insecticide each day which with a young family is not ideal, but they made sure to do it when we weren’t in the room. This did eventually stop them in their tracks. So praise has to be given for how quickly the hotel tried to rectify the situation and their efforts. I would imagine ants are a problem here all year due to the landscaped gardens and terrace style apartments. The upper floor may not have this issue. The only other negative is that the hotel needs to purchase new towels for the rooms and the pool area. These were in a very poor condition with threads fraying at the edges and holes in many of them. The pool is shut during breakfast in an attempt to stop people reserving sunbeds. However, it’s only the pool that is roped off so people can still access the sunbeds to reserve them. This doesn’t really make any sense. The hotel would also benefit from more sun loungers on the grassy areas and more movable parasols. The food served around the pool was of a good standard and variety, and the staff are very friendly and accommodating. Nothing appeared too much trouble for them. The location is also a massive bonus. Next to the main area of Cala D’or but not in heart so not noisy, and a few minutes from the marina. Overall this hotel is a very good hotel, and with a few tweaks it could be flawless."

"This is our third time at this lovely hotel. When we arrived we were welcomed by the lovely reception staff, felt like we'd never been away. Everything about this hotel is fabulous, the location is perfect to get to the centre of Cala d'or or down to the marina, the breakfast is varied and fresh. I say it every year, but the staff here are amazing, they really look after you. Booked again for next year!! Can't wait."
