"Just arrived back from Blue sea club Martha's.
Arrived at midnight checked in and got told the lift was broke so we had to carry cases up to 1st floor. This lift was broke for thw whole duration of thw holiday.
Our apartment was in block 1 which was perfect we had a big balcony over looking the pool. We Noticed the balcony door lock was broke so we went to inform night staff on reception who came to look at it he said its supposed to be like that?? When I asked do no balcony doors lock in the whole complex? he said he would get maintenance man to come up first thing in morning as its was near 1am at this point.
Next morning realised we had no kettle went to ask reception about 7.30am and was told someone will bring it to our room. 10am no sign of kettle asked again to be told the same. Also mentioned balcony door again for the 2nd time.
Kettle arrived on day 2 and maintaince man arrived on day 6 to fix balcony lock after reporting it for a 3rd time. We did decide to stay in the room with the balcony lock broken as we felt safe and we had no issues within the period of time it was broken.
Room:
1 bedroom superior apartment modern and clean. We had fridge, microwave, hob, toaster, kettle, cutlery. The safe was broken so we didnt use it. Kept our passports on us at all times.
Shower/bath water was salt water and bathroom sink not pleasant after spending day in salt pool and wanting to get showered in clean water. Bring loads of conditioner as hair ends up like straw.
Pool area:
3 pools but we spent all of our time at the main pool by reception, there was no music on it was very quite, the pool by the all inclusive restaurant had kids entertainment on but was rammed couldnt get a bed. You need to put towels out by 7am for any of the pools to be able to get a space u want. We bought pool inflatables to be told your not allowed them. Life guard walking round pool telling kids to take them out, but after 6 days of been there, there was kids in the pool with them and nothing was said? Seems like it depended on what life guard was on duty.
Pool area was clean but was salt water. On day 3 my 2 children had a vomiting bug for 24 hours i believe this was from pool water as bottom of pool was dirty some days and other families experienced the same.
Hotel had pool table, gym and football pitch.
Food:
We was self catering so cant comment on the all inclusive buffet but we did eat at the pool side bar and food was lovely. Fresh pizzas made on ordering. Reasonably priced too. We had all kitchen amenities for self catering.
Location:
Perfect location in cala egos, 30 seconds down the road there were loads of restaurants, bars, supermarkets. 10 mins walk to marina, we found a short cut to walk there so dont follow Google maps as this says its takes 30 mins to marina.
Cala dor centre is 30 min walk if u take the short cut to Marina then continue through marina in to cala dor this takes around 30 mins in total. Lovely walk you can stop off on the way for a drink on marina which is absolutely stunning.
Evening markets in cala egos on Thursday and cala dor on a Sunday.
Beach:
5 min walk round the corner is calo des pou, a small cove beach which is beautiful spent a few hours there and seen the famous fruit man. Not many beds you would have to get there early if wanting a bed and umbrella.
Entertainment:
Evening entertainment in hotel is all outdoor, different theme nights/kids disco every evening.
Seen alot of tik toks on our last day regarding items getting robbed from rooms. If I had seen the reviews before booking I probably wouldnt of booked, Luckily we didnt experience this.
Overall it was a lovely hotel and would definitely return even though we had minor issues this did not affect our stay."
