"the hotel is not AS bad as we thought - from the reviews we was expecting a lot worse but upon walking into reception we was pleasantly surprised! Overall the experience was a 3/5.
Room:
We booked a studio with balcony / terrace…the balcony was in a sandpit garden with plastic chairs and a table … we didn’t go out there once! as two girls who love a coffee in the morning on the balcony this was disappointing but we just had it on the sofa!
There’s no kettle in the room so like many others we used a saucepan and ladle to boil the water haha, it felt like we was living in the old ages
The bedsheet we are sure had speckles of mold on…not a vibe
However, the beds were comfy and the bathroom was nice and we didnt have an issue with aircon which we was grateful for
Just a little dated to say the least
Pool area / bars:
The pool was nice we preferred the one by the all inclusive bar where it was quieter and the main games weren’t held around that one
No sunbed wars which we’re happy even though it’s peak time of year so that’s good and you can put your towels down a bit earlier and go for breakfast before pool opens
The all inclusive package drinks for cocktails are very limited, you get 3:
• pins colada, san fransico and love on the beach
and you get the standard non branded / cheaper spirits in the AL package
you can only go to one bar if you’re AL which is by the stage otherwise you have to pay for your drinks at the rest…not used to that was a bit strange
Food:
if you’re a foodie and go away for food, i would advise not to come here - the food was basic. we lived off of baguettes and chips, one night had mexican themed where we had fajitas which was the highlight!
lots of fruit, yogurts and dessert but main food is super super limited and lots of fish primarily
you can pay for the pizza but we didn’t try that
the snacks are at select times of day and it’s just basically left over from breakfast and lunch
entertainment / staff:
staff were lovely and kind each day
some of the entertainment staff like to be persistent with leaving reviews for google, on our first night we was stuck with someone telling us to leave a review and wouldn’t go away…as 2 girls alone on the trip we didn’t feel super comfortable with this but we just left the review as quickly as we could and shook it off
overall, not a bad stay, we was here for 3 nights but we definitely could not do any longer than that. Not a 4 star hotel more of a 3 star. The location is fab though, 30 min walk to the town and 15 mins to the marina and bars
** fyi if you do stay and you like ice cream try Paradice right outside the hotel it was AMAZING and has the best ice creams, each night we stopped for one before bed haha!"
