Forum Boutique Hotel and Spa

"A lovely small hotel in the heart of the old town of Alcudia. We were greeted by Damian who along with his colleague Rianne, proved to be wonderful hosts for our 5 night stay - in fact the whole team of staff were great. Location - middle of the old town - beach is a 25 minute walk away, bus station is 5 minutes from the hotel and buses run regularly to take you down to the port if required. That is also where the Tourist Information is office is located. So lets start with the basics - the hotel was very clean and tidy, comfortable and bright. It's an Adults only oasis and as soon as you walk through the front door there is an air of calm. There are only around a dozen rooms and all guests seemed genuinely relaxed. The room - we were lucky enough to be offered an upgrade on check-in and stayed in the Junior suite. Spacious, bright, and all the niceties of robe, slippers, toiletries, wonderful shower, separate toilet/bidet and even a bath. The linen quality was excellent, bed comfortable, shutters and curtains blocked out light and sound (although it was very peaceful at any time when we were there). The cleaning staff were lovely, always presented our room well each day. Breakfast - served from 8-10 although this appeared to be quite flexible. Extensive choice, fresh eggs to order. Pool and Spa - we didn't use the Spa per se but did have a look around and it was very nicely done. You need to book to use it but that's because they manage the number of people using it any one time to 4 - which I think is a rather nice idea, it should be a tranquil place and wouldn't be if it was overcrowded. The pool is small (no more than 5 strokes in length) but very nice for a short dip. I did book a massage with their wonderful masseuse Cristina, thoroughly enjoyable. As we had an evening flight they were happy for us to use the Spa prior to leaving for a shower and freshen up after a morning on the beach which I thought was a nice bonus. I had a cheeky swim in the pool too - a bit fresh but just what was needed to face the airport! Transfer to the hotel/airport is easy via the A32 bus which drops you at the bus station or you can travel by taxi. We opted for a private transfer back to the airport which Damian organised for us; it was a very nice vehicle to travel in and got us back to the airport safely and on time. We intend to return next Spring - it was a lovely stay."

"We chose this wonderful boutique hotel based on the previous reviews, for our two week stay in beautiful Alcudia town and Wow were we pleased that we did. Alcudia Town 10/10. Forum Boutique Hotel & Spa 10/10 The Staff 10/10 The Rooms 10/10 Breakfast 10/10 Housekeeping 10/10 This hotel - from the owners Toni & his lovely wife who would pop in for a visit on a regular basis - through to all of the staff working within is a model of efficiency and high quality service that is seldom experienced anywhere else on our travels. From the moment that we checked in with the fabulous Damia to the experiences that we enjoyed with lovely Rhianne and Miquel - who was filling in for Diego who is on paternity leave - nothing was too much trouble. As Vegans we were treated to a wonderful array of vegan options for breakfast and were constantly asked if there was anything else at all that we needed. The rooms have the comfiest beds ever and the air conditioning was the best that we can remember in all of the 5* hotels that we have stopped in over the past several years. Karol and her housekeeping team were meticulous in every aspect and - as an example of this - we have never experienced a hotel that tops up the shower gel EVERY DAY back to fullness, which just shows the incredible attention to detail. It is clear that every member of staff enjoys working within the hotel and as a result the atmosphere is always wonderfully positive and clearly everybody tales pride in their work. Sitting outside in the evening with a pre-dinner Pomada (Menorcan Gin & Lemon) whilst having a first rate view of the square and people watching was a daily highlight - as was returning to this wonderful oasis after a day out walking along the nearby coastline. Upon our return there was always a smiling Damia, Rhianne or Miquel to greet us. We enjoy six holiday a year now that we are slowing down from work a little bit and all of these holidays are at 5* hotels. I can honestly say that the Forum Hotel beats all of the other hotels that we have stayed in over the past years without a doubt. The fact that it is a small family owned hotel staffed by wonderful people that take immense pride in everything that they do means that they have achieved the very zenith of what a hotel should be. As we start to think about 2027 we have absolutely no doubts that he Forum Boutique Hotel & Spa will feature at least twice in our plans. Mallorca is wonderful, Alcudia is beautiful, The Forum Boutique Hotel & Spa is unique and the entire staff working within are the very best of the best. If you are planning to stay in Alcudia you really need look no further than the Forum Boutique Hotel & Spa. Just as an aside, we have a little joke going with the marvellous Damia, and although we have given the hotel and everything about it 10/10 we would like to say that Damia deserves an 'ELEVEN'. "Hotel located in the heart of the old town in a pedestrian area, small structure with 16 rooms. No noise in the rooms, it is very quiet. Numerous restaurants and shops in the immediate vicinity, busy during the day but no nightlife, it is peaceful in the evening. If you are by car, you sometimes have to drive around a bit to find a parking space not too far away. The beach is about a 25-minute walk away and easy to access, the hotel provides pool and beach towels. The staff at the reception is extremely pleasant and warm. Breakfast is good, the basic room is a bit small and lacks storage for my taste, it was the last one when I booked and I noticed that the others are larger. A pleasant spa area by reservation for 2. Small suggestion: put a water fountain for sauna users and a system to warn other guests about the operating mode and the fact that the area is reserved."
