"My husband and I just finished a 3 day stay at Vincci Capitol . Pros: on Gran Via: Rows of shops (clothing, shoes), probably the busiest street in Madrid. Length of Gran Via is 1300 meters or .08 miles. of retail stores, theaters, and restaurants. Hotel is centrally located to Chueca District and Manansala District Clean room, bathroom, regular size hand soap, shampoo, bath gel provided Courteous staff Rooftop bar on the 7th floor has a soundproof door which blocks of noise coming from the bar Comfortable beds and pillows Adequate WiFi; no issues with poor or dropped connections Adjustable lighting in room and bathroom Breakfast buffet had a good variety of fruit, drinks, pastries (including churros); however Spanish omelet was dry Cons. Our room was on the 7th floor (703) which is the hallway leading to the rooftop bar. It could get noisy when people leaving the bar area Bathroom did not have place to hang towels. Bathroom had a rack hanging over the toilet; hotel could have set this rack in different part of bathroom Lack of coffee machine or hot kettle in the room Things to note:The halls of the bedroom floors had what looked like fireproof doors. The breakfast room strictly for breakfast. During the day and evening, the rooftop restaurant and bar were open. On our last night at Vincci, we were hoping to have drinks and a meal at the rooftop; however it was so windy that the staff decided to close the bar early. We had to use room service. All in all it was a pleasant stay at Vincci Capitol although slightly pricier than other hotels in the area."
